Oh man! She turned out just gorgeous! π I love the bright vibrant pink with the black contrast, very nicely done! π
I”m having those issues a LOT today, I keep trying to load the page up when I take mini-breaks from a logo design I’m working on.. as the weather is supposed to turn bad for the next week, I was thinking of ordering a couple PYO’s to help pass some potential stuck inside time… but the page is being super stubborn with loading properly.. and I’m a bit nervous to try and complete an order with it going crazy on me
Am I the only one who’s having almost constant issues with the Website? – I end up reloading pages more often than not because they get ‘stuck’ mid load and won’t scroll past the first 1/4-1/3 of the page… or it just stalls, and pages just sit in an attempt to load (as I stare at the page that was loaded before, be it Facebook or email or whatever that is entirely different, or a Windstone page that did successfully load and the next one won’t) until something times out… or it nearly instantly pops up with a “Cannot load page” message… and on many occasions it’s crashed my browser (Chrome) and it’s the *only* page that has crashed the browser out of all the pages I visit, and it does it fairly often… – There was once it crashed so bad that the only way I could get Windstones page to load again was to restart my pc… (Yet things like Facebook and my email still loaded fine)
I also have issues with it getting stuck on loading and going nowhere until timing out or crashing my phone browser… and this isn’t a *just today* or *this week* thing, this has been happening for several weeks, it’s just gradually getting worse..
I updated everything on my PC that I could find that could use an update to see if that was the problem, restarted my router, but often when a page is stuck and I load Facebook to see if it’s on my end, Facebook pops right up without a problem..Here’s pics of mine that arrived several days ago. I named him Mouse and I love him. π
Thanks!
Oh! I love the speckles! π Super cute! π

O.O woah woah, woah there. Those are dangerous words! π
Also-what about some LP solid matte black with blue eyes or solid dark “Russian Blue cat” grey wolves with yellow eyes?
I’m a big fan of Med toned grey with black masks π Was hoping to get one to match my lil arctic (The middle one)
gold or yellow eyes on them is just amazing too π – So if there happened to be a LP release with that type of color, or something close to it, I’d be pretty ok with that π Also, black wolves with the speckle type shading my arctic on the left has, would be pretty awesome too! I just love that texture! πThanks Kaytana! I appreciate that, I find it difficult to post photos on my phone(I’m not very phone savvy lol) especially here on the forums.
Sorry guys that I gush so much about stuff on FB, I’ll try to keep that under control from now on ;). I get so excited, and want to share my excitement, sometimes I forget not everyone uses FB and can’t see what’s posted on there. ^_^;
It’s an uber pain to link/post photos on the forum on a phone, I know how to, but avoid it if possible… just so happened to be one of the few times this weekend I was actually on my pc, and I know how to link from FB, and make Facebook host photos instead of the process of saving them and uploading to my own hosting site.. ^-^
I don’t think anyone minds the gushing, they just wanna be keyed in on what is so exciting πWell isn’t he a lil cutey! π Nice job!
Omg! The in-progress PYO Snerl on Melody’s FB page is so cute!!
It would be nice if you reposted some of the things from Melody’s page here. Not all of us are on Facebook.
Gotcha covered.. here are the recently relevant things π She’s been doing a “Show 5 pieces of art for 5 days” Facebook challenge thingy, that’s why they’ve all been posted – So there hasn’t been any call for people to get overly excited and push Mel, just think of them as lil previews with an open ended expectation date…
February 16, 2015 at 5:30 am in reply to: If you do a batch of wolf brindles….would you consider half merle? #925813Those people who got merles from the grab bag batch would suddenly not have unique pieces anymore…
Melody has outright said all GB’s are test paints and may be turned into production colors at any time… just sort of goes w the territory.. plus merles can be done in SO many different ways, red merles, blue merles, and the red and blues, solid merle, patched merle, mixed eyes, blue eyes, brown eyes… so many things to make them unique all their own
Your post just reminded me of when I was vet tech at the local humane society. There were a few racing greyhound kennels in the area, and we had a good relationship with the staff of a couple- they tried for their dogs as much as they could, and funneled quite a few to us. Sometimes we got litters of pups from one. Once, when we adopted one of the pups out, it was brought back by a VERY irate owner. The pup was brindle, as were its littermates and probably 90% of the greyhounds around here. The owner was angry because they claimed we misrepresented the breed of the pup. They said their vet insisted the pup was a pit and most definitely not a greyhound, because it was brindle and only pits come in brindle. Uh, yeah, with its skinny sighthound head and body, it’s a pit all right, even if it wasn’t from known parentage… you can’t win against stupidity. We just took the pup back to find it a better home.
I hear also that if it has a blue eye/eyes, it must be an aussie or aussie mix. When it looks and acts just like a dalmatian cross or a husky.
Sorry for the long story and off topic!Sounds about right for the general public… people assume Kila HAS to be a pit mix, because she’s brindle… takes all I have to not point out pit mixes get a blocky jaw and stout body, and that they’re idiots to think just because they haven’t heard of a breed, doesn’t mean I’m making things up… I’m glaf you guys got that dog out of there still, if their vet is that dumb and misleading, and the owners are that dumb, then the dog is WAY better off w someone else…
February 15, 2015 at 7:26 pm in reply to: If you do a batch of wolf brindles….would you consider half merle? #925791Maybe you’re right. I dunno….I wouldn’t mind having a couple, myself. The demand might still be there?
It probably would be too much of a pain, anyway. Sorry. I’ll eat crow.
No need to eat crow. I think you’re right that the demand probably would be there. But if some people want a merle but not a brindle, and some people want a brindle but not a merle, a combined batch could lead to a lot of disappointment and frustrated unsuccessful traders. I think separate batches would be better if Melody was going to paint both patterns. **runs and hides**
I agree with this, I think a split batch would be unwise, maybe one smaller batch of each, I would certainly order one each π even is they released at completely different times
Also, this is no different than the ‘fairness’ to who got the mahagony brown and black red fox that was in such high demand from the original gb set, to releasing the odd ball batch which is largely just like him… I’m personally very happy, as I had a real chance for one, and I ***love*** my odd ball mahogany brown fox!
Oh my goodness! I love him! π he’s so pretty! π
Thank you! π We found him huddled on our back porch one winter several years ago. Somebody must have dumped him in our yard (it’s fenced). Poor guy was scrawny and covered in mange. He’s had a home here ever since!
I would be overjoyed to have a wolf painted like him. π
Aww! I’m so happy he found the perfect home for him! <3 Even if he didn't start life so great
I got my girl at 6months old from a shelter that had a prison program in Kansas City (inmates on good behavior got to train a dog, kind of a second chance for 2!) they found her wandering on the streets, and I found her on Petfinder.com... It was love at first sight and I didn't even blink to drive to Hays, Kansas to pick her up! (about an 10hr drive, give or take, round trip) - She;s been my baby girl ever since, the photo of her with her ball upside down is 100% her personality π
