So cute! The only ones I’m missing are the same ones you are (my red fire is one of the red-eyed escapees as well), and that copper patina hatchling. Nice pics and thank you for sharing! It does take a while for those little guys to wiggle their eggs around into formation, doesn’t it? 🙂 I think my old brown and old green (would have to look again) have ‘tongues’ (I know at least one does, but I thought it was both of them).

Oooh, awesome! I don’t know how many red-eyed red fire ‘escapees’ there are, but I haven’t heard of many.

I think the tongues are adorable. 😀

I actually have one that has red eyes as well.

That too. Every time I place an order, my previous order is still in my cart, so I have to delete those items.

I did yesterday, it didn’t want to give me the province when I used my saved address. Iit gave me the correct country as Canada but it wouldn’t list Ontario, just the US states. I just had to refresh a couple of times and it reset itself so it was just a bit of a pain.

I’m sanding down the belly of the new Oriental dragon master now. We are gonna remake the molds and *hopefully* start producing them again – if the casting problems with this kind of rainbow shaped piece can be made a little better.
We got the Sun and Moon dragon coming along also…
    So -is maybe possible!

    Yay!!!! *Happy Dance*

    Love the Copper Nettuce Poad…

in reply to: Ebay Unicorn Color Squeaks (and more grab bags) #846147

We found a company in Rhode Island who will do it, but we can’ find the masters! The masters are silver cast pieces that are used to press the molds from. We found OUR pewter molds ( we used to make these ourselves) but they are not the same as the ones this company uses.
Making new master horns is really difficult because there is shrinkage to consider.
    It is always something.

Well at least it’s a step in the right direction!!

Damn, I’d grab it but it’ll cost me more in gas to pick it up than it’s worth…

in reply to: Deco Color paint markers #846070

I’m pretty sure they use the Deco paint pens at the factory. The only reason they don’t want you using oil based paint on PYO’s is that it doesn’t let the gypsum breathe. Just a tiny bit of the gold paint isn’t going to be a problem, unless you decide to cover the entire statue in it.
