Oh how sad. I have over 1000+ physical books and I’d be horrified if my collection was just shoved into a locker like this. Hubby has very strict instructions on what to do with my books if I go first. I have a lot of first editions as well as signed books. This just breaks my heart.

I get it. I love the inserts, they’re so much better than even bubble wrap. I was just curious if there really was a reason behind the packing.

Ok, I purchased him from Jackiid55…she called him Black Russet but he looked almost identical to the Opopanox so that is what I thought he was when Mel posted a pic of the Opop on her Facebook page.
Now I am confused! Jackie was the winner of Opoponax from ebay, but that one didn’t say raffle prize on the bottom. It had gold detailing on the bottom eyelid, and two gold spots on its cheek. Your’s looks like it has black eyelids and only one gold cheek spot. Maybe the gold rubbed off, or the gold just isn’t showing in the picture.
Nope, he definitely does not have gold eyeliner or two gold spots.

He’s buried in my storage room so I can’t dig him up but I’m pretty sure he said “Raffle Prize” on him, with Melody’s signature of course. This is the pic I posted before.

He was a prototype version and had red eyes. His body was black and his dorssl scales, belly, and wings were copper-gold. Does that sound like the one you have?

Does anyone remember what raffle Opoponox was for?? The person I bought him from says that he was for a special charity raffle but I can’t find/remember which one. And all he has written on the bottom is “Raffle Prize”.
The card is business-card size and it should have been at the bottom of the box. All poads, young or adult, come with cards.
Unless it’s an ebay Poad™, but those come with COA’s. 🙂
I started with about 3-4 hours of footage since I did sit and paint a phoenix straight out for the video. I cut it SOOOO MUCH OUT I feel like I missed vital information here and there I would have wanted to explain, but I sounding like a micromachines commercial bad enough as it was! LOL! Since I was using a Flip Camera I ended up with 62 short videos I had to compile into one 5 minute ship wreck! hahaha!
