You know what? I think I do want to be put on your list. If you have as many people on your list as you say then I might be able to save enough money to get one. I think that would make an awesome present to me! Plus I doubt that I could do as nice a job as yours are anyway. Where would I be on your list number wise? (Thank you for putting me on your list, I was pretty sure you had too many people on the list already and would not have room for more!)

I have been sleep deprived for years now so my memory is blotto. He is better than an alarm clock. It doesn’t matter how late he stays up he is up by seven every morning. His favorite morning game is to poke you in some part of your face and say “whats that?”…
I think I am changing my mind on the signing issue now based on what you all have had to say. I am glad that I asked. Thank you all for your input! π
Plus I have sympathy cramps for your hands!
O.K., I have checked this thread thoroughly I am can not stand it anymore… what are you asking for these grand little guys?!? I am fairly sure that I probably couldn’t afford you but I had to ask anyway! Any chance you would allow us to try our hand at painting one ourselves? I would never try someone else’s patterns without permission. π― I just can not help it I am in love with these guys!

September 26, 2007 at 6:32 pm in reply to: A personal debate that I could use some input on… #620919Hi All,
I am nearing completion on my second griffin which I will probably sell on eBay. Pictures will likely be up tomorrow after admin approval. I post them here first to make sure they pass muster on the not infringing on copy writes issue. The internal debate I am having is thus…
Do I sign the felt pad as a painter or not?
Personally I am feeling like I should not sign as these are really Melody’s work. Plus I do not see the painters at Windstone signing them. However I have noticed that some do on eBay. Do you think it makes a difference to the end buyer or not?
Thank you all for your input.
Laura
See… I knew I was being goofy! Thank you so much. It made ordering them so much easier! π

I am about to buy my second round of PYO’s and I can not remember what some of the colors of the jewels are. What is Jonquil?
What is Light Siam?
What is Olivine?Sorry for posting this for the umpteenth time but I really can not remember. Thanks again for your help!
Regards,
Laura π
I second that and dear god that griffin is so beautiful!!! I was knocked on my butt looking at him. I saved his pics in my Windstone folder so I could keep looking at him! Man I wish I cold paint like that. Makes me wish I had the extra money to get one. Let me know when your list gets lighter, I will hit up DH for my next birthday. Its in May so plenty of time… 8) π
I have reached the unenviable position of needing to paint more PYO’s and running out of money to do so. I think I may be addicted and it happened in three pieces. (Do they have support groups for this kinda thing?) I just uploaded my griffin for approval for my gallery. I think it will show up tomorrow? I painted the griffin with a brush cause I used all 7 cans of propellant on my first two PYO’s. I am going to have to get a compressor now. That said, I think he came out pretty good. I also think he is the one I would choose to sell because I can not seem to let go of the nightmare or my dragon. How do you guys handle it when you get to this point? How do you know if you have a salable product? And do you think the griffin will qualify as salable when he shows up in my gallery? I know I am a pain, but I had no idea the can of worms I was going to open when I decided to start these as a hobby. How do you guys do it? I hate to let any of them go! I would appreciate some words of wisdom from more experienced members.
I vote number 1 or number 10. They are so awesome! O.K, really I never met a Poad I didn’t like!
O.K. Phoenix, you just made me spit out my drink reading that post! π I was laughing despite the fact that I was drinking at that moment. That sounds like really great advise on the eBay issue. Thanks for that comedic moment! π
I think your son is great! I love to see the entrepreneurial spirit shine in kids!!! π Obviously he is very clever. I was so sure that the sculpture would go. I told everyone here in my neck of the woods who would listen about it too. I love to support a great cause. I hope you will post a picture of the sandbox when you get it! π
I vote for larger pieces too. I am finally finished with my dragon base and all and now I am working on the nightmare. Next is the griffin. Who knows, maybe I will paint one for eBay and see if it goes. The guys I am painting now are going no where though! π
