You can also delete the ad if you’d like, but I think it’s nice to leave it up to give people the chance to see that the Uni they may have been interested in is currently involved in a trade 🙂

First up is the first Kitty Griffin I have done. He was a birthday present for my boyfriend 🙂 I named him “Moss”.
Then, I have a Foo Pup that I painted to resemble a stormy sky. He is appropriately named Stormy.
Finally, this guy is one that I worked on for a Christmas present. She is inspired by Maleficent, though I took some liberties with the scheme. I regret not taking better pictures of this one – but I was running low on time and I had to get her photo’d before she made a trip for Christmas 🙂

He is absolutely gorgeous. I am still flummoxed as to how I got him for such a good price, but I am also very grateful! He is my last splurge for the next few months as I will be temporarily out of a job! Luckily I was able to sell a piece just in time to get this beauty 🙂
I searched him all over and I could not find any of the washed out details that were mentioned – not that I think they don’t exist, I’m sure they do! They are just invisible to me 😀
Anyway, here he is in the sun and in the shade! Hopefully I will have more time in a few days to take some better pics of him, because my gosh he deserves them.

That makes sense though, thanks!I was actually really surprised to see it go for such a low price – I was swooning over it myself, and from the pictures I can’t even tell that the paint is thick!

Yup, that’s it. 🙂 I only noticed it because I was trying to put a pattern on those feathers and couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get the two sides to match.

Here’s one that I did in the last few days on a whim (Kay mentioned this paint scheme in her thread and I guess the idea stuck in my head XD)
This is “Thorn”. I’ve done this paint scheme once before when I repainted a baby unicorn (you can see that one on my webpage, as Windstone does not allow repaints to be posted on their site), and decided to try the same scheme on a PYO uni. She is painted like a sunset and the night sky with bramble details and roses on her rump. She has metallic aqua blue glass eyes from Tohickon glass, and has been sprayed with a topcoat that gives her a generous sparkle in certain lights (shown best in the last picture). She has been set with 5 Swarovski Crystals in her tail in AB Crystal and 3 Swarovski Crystals in her forelocks in Aquamarine (not shown! I put them in after these pics were taken 🙂 ).
I hope to take some better outdoor pictures of her later this week – I rushed home today to take some pics, and it was just my luck that it started raining almost as soon as I stepped out there! You can even see a raindrop on her in one of the pictures. I think in sunlight I’ll be able to get nicer pics.
