Got my ladies Saturday but had such a busy weekend I wasn’t able to open them until last night. One of mine has kind of a defect?? Not sure, but I emailed Susie……and feel like an a$$ since it’s a no-nitpicking edition. My other one is perfect….except the color, per my gb luck. 😉 So, she is up for trade for almost any other kitty. Is she a Russian Blue??
Pretty kitty! Are those white speckles on her rump? She’s adorable!
What does your other kitty look like? 🙂Commission spots are currently closed! Please message me for details.
Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!I know that posted the links already. I’m just trying out the whole posting the photos directly to the thread thing.
Grrrr….not working
I see the problem! There needs to be a space here – so instead of imgsrc, its img src!
I put that space in and this is how it looks:
Hmmm.. still not working quite right. It looks like the links are not to image files – there should be a .jpg or .png or something at the end of that… seeing if I can find it for you!
Grumble.. Flickr is so difficult. I can’t access the actual code for the image file, but I did find a link to the page so people can go see >< Sorry! I tried! D:

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!It wont be a problem when they have pads, but right now we are just trying to get rid of a bunch of old “round bottom” castings that we can’t put pads on 🙂
And there we go – a solution! Whaddayaknow.
Melody has been planning to give them pads for a while now 🙂 Next week I think we are even going to start casting the new flat-bottom Lady cats. But unfortunately we already had a bunch cast that the pads wouldn’t fit on.
That’s still great news! I figured there was a good reason for the weird little D being there, I’m just glad the fix is already in the works, especially since it (hopefully) solves the problem of these guys being difficult to paint! Two birds with one stone 😀
Kemuri, yours is beautiful!
And Pheonixx – what luck! So cute that Rodney called what one he was going to get 🙂

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!…yea but with pads I can’t spin them like tops on my coffee table ^_^
I think erasing that D is going to be a lot of extra work and too much to keep track of to know what has been dunked vs what hasn’t been dunked if they don’t put them on the sculpt at all in the first place.
It could be avoided by using a small sticker instead, or a pencil that can be erased before paint is put on. Or felt pads. Or the bottom getting a darker colored paint coating so it hides it.
The end result is unfortunate, and I’m certain there’s some way around it.

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!Got mine! I am pretty darned happy with them 🙂
I got a Siamese and a Calico! Two of the types that I was hoping for! I *might* still trade one of them for a kitty that I like better – it’s always hard to tell when looking at the class photos which ones you’ll truly fall in love with – but it’s a good possibility that I may like another cat more, so don’t hesitate to send me a PM if you love one of mine. The other cats that I have my eye on are mostly the tabbies that have the pretty swirl of color on them 🙂Here are some outdoor pics:
And some indoor shots:
And I know this is a “No nitpicking edition”, but.. I gotta nitpick about something. This has NOTHING to do with the paint job or any flaws in that – they look wonderful! I can see some tiny blemishes and things but it doesn’t even matter! However, the one single thing that bothers me is that “D” on the bottom underneath the paint job and the stamp >< I can see it on both of mine – it's clearer on the Siamese but it's still there under the white on the Calico. It just stinks that the pretty silver stamp is effectively marred by the scrawled "D" on the bottom there. Could these be written in pencil and erased before the final paint job in the future? I realize that this is the bottom of the piece and I won't look at it too much, but it's clearly important to Windstone that their pieces meet a high quality standard (especially given that these are a 'no nitpicking edition' and I LOVE the natural flaws on the piece!) and this just seems like an oversight. From looking at the bottom of the Calico, it seems that Melody treats the bottom of these as a continuation of the art, and I love that! But that "D", man… that "d"… /mini rant

Agreed! Although it’s a complete rip off of Old Brown and steals some design ideas from Melody (the baby looks just like a mini hatching triceratops!), it’s actually pretty adorable XD

Please visit My Webpage to see my art and PYO's that I've done in the past!I’ve seen plenty of pictures but he is just so much cuter in person when you can hold him in your hand!
A note of warning on that… them pebbles are awesome to hold and to play around with in your hand – particularly the fennec, since he’s so small.
Well, for a while, I took to having my tan fennec in my hand, rubbing with my thumb on the back of the head when I was watching movies on my computer.
Admittedly, I do have somewhat sweaty hands, but still…
Flecks of paint came off! So now I just pat him on the ears.
I actually ordered an Fennec in anticipation of when I am going to be flying next year – specifically so that I can have him in my hands as a “worry stone”! He will be my second Sand Fox and I ordered him soully for this purpose just in case he gets damaged or the paint begins to rub off 🙂
