I’m currently working with a pattern that I bought to make a couple of little dragon plushies. I won’t claim them as my own design but I will post pics of them when they’re done 😀 The pattern is super cute!

I ordered a couple with blue eyes and after painting the first one and realizing that I needed red eyes for her, I ordered another Keeper with red eyes 😆 I’m still waiting for her to arrive so my very first attempt isn’t officially completed yet since she doesn’t have eyes or a jewel, but otherwise she is done.
I call her Ruse – I’ll be getting much better pictures in a few days – as usual my progress pics have been taken with a cell phone camera. Her wings have been interferenced with green and they look awesome under low light. I walk by her every night and the wings always catch my eye, I’m really happy with her. Some of her other scales are interferenced in violet.
This second one I have been wanting to try to paint for a while, and I know a few other people have attempted this color scheme in the past so I thought I would try my hand at it. I still need to do a decent amount of shading and I need to finish up his tail, I’m still undecided about the brown and tan scales on his neck and I’ll still probably lightly antique him but he is definitely taking shape and I’m pretty excited about him.
I call him Simon (yeah, I’m starting to give my PYO’s non-color names 😆 I have no good reason for that). His feet look almost pitch black in this picture but they’re really just dark brown, and the blue from his tail fades to a deep gray blue on the large scales. Only the very tip of his tail is actually black.

😆 They changed a lot of how everything works in WoW – including when Druids get their cat form – this isn’t exclusive to Worgens 🙂 Cat form at lv 8, bear at 12 (I think?), swim form/travelling form at 16.
I kind of like the Worgen cat forms 🙂 They’re dark and mean looking, a great contrast to the sweet and cute colored Night Elf Cat form. Have you seen the new Treant forms yet? It’s a different color for every race 😀

After going back over my touched up areas I still saw bubbles, no matter how soft or slowly I was applying the topcoat, but I was able to rinse my brush and just gently pull at the areas that had bubbles to get them out. I know that I am super critical of my own work as well, so I’m sure that a lot of the areas that bothered me others wouldnt have even been able to pick out.
I may have to try using a flatter brush as well – I’ve been using my small filbert thinking that it would get into the smaller areas better, but it may be part of the reason the bubbles are forming. Thanks again 😀

Yep, and as it turned out it marred the look of the piece in certain areas. I had to re-paint over them. Not sure that I like this brush on stuff 🙁
