Gorgeous sculptures, Cheryl! If you get what they’re worth you’ll be able to buy quite a few Windstones. 🙂
I can already hear the reports of broken impala figurines just looking at those long horns. Nice idea, but somehow I doubt a single one would survive shipping.

So I’m not the only one waiting. It’s been at least a week since I took him up on his offer for $240 for his emerald sitting Spectral. No reply yet. Thanks for the note, dragoness.
We’re in total agreement, Nambroth.
Fair ’nuff. My littlest brother was on the verge of figuring out who Santa Claus was, so yesterday for St. Nicholas Day Dad didn’t so the usual dress-up. The candy bags just appeared by themselves. 😉
Unless the guy is played by a girl who goes by the name of Ski… Maybe you ought to clear him up on the matter? 😀
You’re right. That’s a very weak argument.
I love him. Can’t wait to see how he looks when he’s done.
Never heard of it, but that’s ridiculous. She was one of the nobility who commissioned her portrait. Just nobody knows her full name.
I do realize that Melody made the wings as big as she could. The sculptures would lose a lot of detail if the wings were made as big as they’d have to be to lift the dragon. You’d basically see wing and maybe a head. I really like Melody’s dragons – or I wouldn’t be collecting them – I was just pointing out that with all respect to natural-looking beasties, the wings are the least realistic part.
And about raised hackles – that’s a good comparison! The Spectrals look to alive and alert with their pupil-less eyes and raised wings. That’s why I love them above all the other dragons.Very clever, Sunhawk. Didn’t we just hear that somewhere else? 🙂
Those are so cute, sunhawk!

DUH! Video games are lame compared the real thing, and in the movies some of the things they do with guns are just plain stupid. An SMG in every hand and firing level – that’s just BS.
Yeah, that’s another thing I like about the Spectral: His big wing area. That’s really the only thing that bugs me about Melody’s dragons: the wings would never carry the beast. They’re too small and they’d have to attach to the body all the way to the back legs to give the critter enough lift to get off the ground. The Spectral is better in that regard, but he wouldn’t fly either.
Oh me oh my. I get it. It’s very dangerous making negative comments about Windstones, especially to hardcore collector forum members. That’s why Dad doesn’t say anything at all when I mention my newest buy. 😀
