Me too. Too bad Hollies are one of the hardest dragons to find. The one year, 2008 I think it was, they almost went extinct. TJ had posted that there maybe 100 left and most were on inactive scrolls. I don’t think there was more than a handful bred that year.
Past Christmas Dragons will be breedable from the 19-26. New Christmas dragons will drop from the 25-28. As always there is a 2 per person limit on each breed of Christmas dragon. Further details on the festivities can be found here.
I hear you on the dark thing. I’m getting up and am at work before the sun rises and only see the sun for a for a little bit before it’s dark by 5pm. I recently started using a sunrise/dawn alarm clock. It’s seems to be helping wake up easier/faster and feel less tired during the day(when I get enough sleep). The lamp simulates a sunrise by slowly turning on a light telling your body it’s time to wake up. Mine can also simulate sunset to tell your body it’s time to sleep. Blue light(S.A.D) Lamps can also help with depression caused by lack of sunlight. These lamps have several names but what they do is produce bright(“daylight”) light which helps make up for lost sunlight exposure. Obviously nothing beats natural sunlight but maybe light therapy will help with the depression(tired, don’t want to do anything, etc.). Hope things start improving for you.
My uncle had an mug image press. I’m not sure of the exact process but I do know it used heat just like a tee shirt press. The mugs came pre-glazed. I think he print off the image on some sort of special thermal transfer paper then fused the image to the mug with the press. As far as I know the images are pretty permanent and don’t rub/flake off at all. I don’t know what cafepress uses but it gives you an idea of how they might do it.
I say just tell the truth. I don’t like saying bad things about people but I also don’t think that she should get a free ride. I can understand being busy and needing to lean on your partner but an effort still needs to be made. I guess it comes down to is she trying and overwhelmed or is she freeloading?
Though if it were me doing the writing assignment you’d probably want to sit down with me as it might not get done otherwise. I specialize in sitting and staring at the screen for hours and getting nothing done. Pretty much, I want to do it so I sit there but I struggle with coming up with the ideas so nothing gets done. The one class I had required a 25 (double spaced) page technical report. I failed it twice because I couldn’t get more than about 3 page done. It took my mom, aunt, and cousin spending hours helping me/kicking my butt to get it done just in the nick of time. Then I got and A on it. Give me a rough draft on the other hand and I could edit/finish it no problem(as long as I’m not suffering from procrastinitis).
So when is the new Dragon hatcher coming, and what happened to the Very Large dragon I called an Empress. The largest one you made that was a possible outdoor one? I would still love it as an empress. Females can be bigger them males, just look at Black widows Female vs Male for size comparison in real world.
The new dragon hatcher (he still needs a name) is being cast . Soon as we get a substantial batch of them together ( a hundred at least) we will paint ’em. I was planning to eventually paint them in every color we have done the production dragons in (except maybe the reds)… but what should we do first?? A variety of old colors? Lavender?

…Hey, if you want a blank PYO griffin you can buy them on ebay for $300…. yea… I see one is a soft feather griffin but 10 times the mark up? I don’t really care if the seller wants to ask that, but I just thought the auction was humorous.

Can’t wait to see the last few foos. By my count we have about 6 pictures missing. I can post pictures of the one I did if my person wants all I need is the go ahead.
I’m just glad they’re easy to catch this year. Sometimes it’s a nightmare trying to catch the holiday eggs. I only managed to get my hands on 1 ghost dragon last year. This year I manged to fill my scroll in about 10 seconds flat.
There’s no image for the last one. It took me a minute to notice it but it’s text only in the next post(on Facebook that is).
They did an awesome job of it. I’m almost tempted to put it on my iPod. And I’m Canadian and tend not to like things with heavy symbolic meaning(especially when they don’t apply to me).
