That’s a good question Ferlin1984. We haven’t been able to know exactly when an announcement email would be received (with the old system it could have been as much as 2 hours in advance) – and we probably still will not know exactly when that will happen with what we are going to try now, but our intention is to have the email go out announcing the time that the item will go into the store, giving you enough time to make arrangements to be at a computer. The timing will probably vary from item to item (items that we do not expect to sell out quickly will not require a lot of lead time).
As usual, we will need people to refrain from refreshing a whole bunch right before the time the item goes into the store – or the site slows down so much we cannot put it in! For this reason we do not allow the use of auto-refreshing scripts on our website.
OK. Thanks for getting back to me. I guess it is sort of hit and miss, when I got a store announcement it was always between 2-3 hours before the actual release but I have never done a restock notice before.
This is a newbie question. 🙂 I haven’t been around long enough to know myself but I thought some of you that have been here longer would know. When the store announcements come out, it is usually a couple hours before they hit the store, when you sign up for a restock, is it immediate? or is there a delay to put them in? Hopefully there is a a delay for those who cant get to a computer.
Do you think they might be released sometime this week or because you are trying to bundle and save for shipping, maybe next week?
question that popped into my head last night, how are the short haired PYO flapcats going? nearly ready or still a long way off?
I’ve got a desk full of unfinished pieces.
The sitting foxes, the pyo O. dragons and short haired F.cat, raccoon dog, pyo snerl,and a few others.
I have just about finished the gb wolves, ivory wolves, red foxes, ivory foxes and some odd-ball red foxes.
Odd-ball red foxes are ones that got goofed up. Kinda like a gb edition, but mostly red and black colors -and a few with grey.
I’ll get back to finishing sculpture soon.Will the goof up foxes be a separate batch, like the hippies and hippies?

While the wolves are deciding if they want an announcement with their release :), I was just wondering what might be up next. I know several things were mentioned, GB unicorns, poads and lions, tigers, and bears oh my! (I watched Wizard of Oz a lot as a child 😀 ) Would it be too matchy matchy to make young poads be poison dart frogs, I think the design on a bigger sculpt would look really neat.

Thanks for the update. Would anyone know prices at all or the range of prices on wolves? I know last batch was eighty. Just trying to judge what to put aside.

I was wondering about the “red” red foxes. Will their colors be similar all around, like the sand Fennecs, with minor differences or like the wild dog colors with a range of patterns? I know red foxes are pretty similar in coloring but some have different markings.
Also the ivory foxes and wolves, will those be like the ivory Fennecs? With the really neat antiquing?
I cant wait to see them all, I need another shelf 😀Any chance today is the day they’re released?
Oh good, I am glad I wasnt the only one wanting to know that. I do hope it is, Friday sounds like a perfect release day to me :D.
How long has the package been lost? I’ve had my packages with USPS be missing more than a week then show up. If it’s been a long time, I’d say offering half her money back is fair considering you have proof you sent it and she picked the dicey shipping option
I had this happen recently to me. I ordered an item from windstone using first class and a tracking number. I would check tracking and every day for almost two weeks it still said it was in Corvallis. It showed being there and then it was delivered to my house. No scans anywhere else. How long has it been?
I was just wondering if there was a winner for what type of GB there will be this month? Just something to look froward to on these long, cold, winter days.
I’ve got a cart of foxes and wolves out… so, more grab bag wolves? I know I did those already ,but everyone seemed to like them.
I could do them in safari colors, or natural dog colors… or magic mushrooms.
(I kinda prefer the natural themes!)I think the natural colors on wolves would look great and match the other GBs. Although the magic mushroom color might look really cool for those that like fantasy. I’m not sure how well it would look on a pebble. I think the bright colors seem to go best with the dragons and unicorns. Would the foxes be the classic red that will be regular production?
