For me the painting has started small and grown. So far I can fit most all my stuff in two boxes and a few jelly jars, hahaha. Actually I use a card table in our back “whatever” room and a light on the table so It seems it can be as formal or informal as you have room for. Oh, and mine comes with two resident art critics that wear funky fur coats all the time and mutter something like “meow” every once in while. (Art critics are optional.)

I’m really shy about my painting but wanted to know how long do we have to get the PYO done. I’m getting really good at muses, hahaha. I could try a dragon (first one) or anything but a wolf. Thinking about this…..

Edit: This sounds better and better – I’ll give it a try, sign me up when we get a list going *runs off to practice on a muse, poor guy*

🙂 I emailed Emerald at Emerald’s Emporium and ordered one from her, so now I’m really excited to see it. (and have to find a nook with my others to put it as I’m almost out of room everywhere) 🙂

🙄 Duh, I looked again just like you said and voila 3 marquis stones that are simply lovely. Can’t decide whether they are crimson or cinnamon. What are they??? whatever they are they are beautiful and will go straight to my gem collection. I don’t have any this color which is why I can’t decide what they are….please, please tell me the type….. are they garnets????

😀 😀 THANK YOU CRIMSON!!!! I just LOVE my box of goodies….nom,nom…. Crimson got me the cutest little plush bag with some cocoa in it for those cold nights I’m sure will arrive too soon…nom, nom….I’ve got some “Dragon Lotion” that feels wonderful and Cranberry and Rose Soap to go with it. She also sent some chocolates and Cranberry Nut trail mix of which I am now munching happily upon!!!!! To finish it off I think it’s a piece of fluorite in greens and purples (have no fluorite in my collection) and some Citrine chips in a little bottle nestled in one of those cute little silk purses… I am overwhelmed – Thank you again Crimson, I love it!!!!!!!!

Would it also be possible for those who have commission information there to update the date on the posts. When I first looked at that area I was afraid that all the information on prices and materials was out of date due to the posting dates being so old. Maybe it’s my old brain that needs an update too. 🙂

I think I live on Etsy and have a DA account that I’ve pretty well given up on so they are the only two I deal with. No Facebook as that place gets hacked too often for my taste.

Purpleturtle, I am so sorry I seem to have stolen your first sentence. I was trying to remember how to spell Acetylene and just started typing….*foot shuffling and sad eyes* “I’m sorry” my mind is out in outer space it seems, please forgive me. Koishii, pardon me for butting in on your thread….however,Acetylene is still very pleasing to my eyes, IMHO.

I’m glad you asked that question because it’s the same one I have. I just used Pearl Ex on a muse and mixed it with an acrylic medium and painted it on as usual. Really bright colors and beautiful. I know there are several people here who dry brush it on with sealer to hold it in place for layering. It’s different to say the least.

I just got to the point where I need to spray my muse and you asked the very question I was going to post. It’s 40 degrees here during the day and 20 at night so how does one seal it in the cold other than paint on sealer? I thought about just running outside with both, spraying and running back inside with the sculpt *snicker* but there must be an easier way…..anyone….???????
