Welcome back
Sounds like this was not your day hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Glad you are OK and it was nothing serious – take care of yourself
Tackey Tacky Tacky
Glad everything came out well for you
My Dog – I had just moved into an apartment with a gas stove – I didn’t even have a nodding acquaintance with a gas stove always had electric. Anyway I put the pots and pans in the bottom drawer and with a gas stove that is the broiler. Unfortunatey I also put the microwave bacon rack in there. Later I turned the oven on and when it got hot the bacon rack burst into flames and the flames were shooting up the back of the stove. I panicked threw Starfire out the door and screamed help fire. A man ran over with a small fire extinguisher and put it out. The fire department came along with the apartment manager. The manager apologized to me and said in the future all new renters would be told about a gas stove. Fortunately nothing was damaged and the lady across the aisle worked for a company that made equipment for fire depts. and she gave me a spray can of something that completely got rid of any smell from the fire. When re-telling this story later I could laugh about this but not then.
As far as which Windstone – as many as I could grab but first my white emperor
He is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! congratulations on winning him.
Where I live you have to have a dog or cat on heartworm preventative year round and I use Sentinel – it is a prescription drug – it also contains a flea preventative. I have had my chow on the doggie version since he was 9 months old and he has never had a flea.
I had a female chow chow that lost her sight in the first eye at age 5 and the second eye at 6 1/2 from Glacoma. At the time she lost the sight in the second eye I said what do I do now and the vet said treat her just like a blind person – don’t move the furniture or leave shoes, purses, etc on the floor because she knows where the furniture is placed but not the things you leave on the floor. She lived to be 12 years old and got around fine. Even when the company moved me from KC to Atlanta it didn’t take her any time at all to adjust. As far as stairs are concerned when I had to take her up or down stairs I said Starfire step step step and when we got to the top I told her top and she started walking. The vet also told me animals get around more by smell than sight.
Happy Birthday

That is a fabulous collection Keschete. Is the background pictures or what? I have never noticed the bookends before but they are great I’ll have to look for a pair to guard the dinos.
Welcome
Just remember Windstones are addictive
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHOENIX TEARS
I live in FL and have an almost 12 year old chow chow that unfortunately likes to grab the poison frogs that live here. I have had to wipe his mouth out then rush him to the vet 4 times. If you don’t get the dog to a vet quickly the poison will kill them. Apparently he is not to smart when it comes to leaving them alone and can find one no matter how well it hides. I hope your puppy is doing better and that the vet is right and itis an allergic bite.
