HAPPY BIRTHDAY
I’ll always remember back to about 1978 – I had a boss that was the company’s swinging bachelor who thought he was smart but he fell for one of the oldest April Fools Joke – the one about somebody leaving a message on his phone to call Mr. Lyon. I am sure everyone remembers that one it was the phone no. at the Zoo. I laughed forever about him falling for that one. He asked everybody around who left that message but nobody knew.
I still think I am the grand old lady I’ll be 74 in October and I bought my first 2 Windstones in 1986 a brown male and female. When my Brown Emperor arrives in a couple of weeks that will make 176.
Have you asked Susie?

Is it possible to get the shot in pill form? If so you might ask the vet to call in a prescription at one of the local pharmacies near E and charge it to you.
I am glad your doggie is doing so well. I had a chow that developed glaucoma at age 5. She lost sight in the first eye almost immediately and later on that eye had to be removed because of the pain it was causing her. She was so stuck on her looks I knew she would know she looked different so the Vets at UK – Manhattan, KS put a glass eye in her. It looked just like her own. About 18 months later she lost the sight in the second eye which the vets at UK-Manhattan said was a record. She adjusted very well to blindness. She listened to everything I told her. An example was if she had to go up or down stairs I would tell her stairs ahead and she would start feeling for them. As we went up or down I would tell her up or down at each step and then say OK we are here and it worked out fine. She lived to be a little over 12 when I lost her to cancer but she always seems to get along OK.
Welcome Back I haven’t been on the Forum very much lately either. I am so sorry to hear about Danny and hope things get better for you. I lost my husband when we were both 34 and it was hard even though we didn’t have any children.
Congratulations you did good
