Well, I decided to try my hand on a griffin. I painted this one for my mother for her Christmas gift. She really likes the pastels and shabby chic style of decor. The colors on this last image are more true to the actual piece. It has metallic periwinkle eyes and I used three different shades of purple, green, and cream color with lots of gold interference mixed in different areas. 🙂
