I don’t know if he’s UGLY per se, but is is pretty darn goofy-looking! Very silly.
I think he’s Buford, The Frog Wizard with the heart of gold and a brain of…mush. The bottom performer in Wizard U, and a dismal conversationalist, he’s nevertheless loved for his ability to conjure cupcakes. Which he can do almost every time.
Did I forget the link? Boo. Here’s where I found it–it was on one of my gmail sponsored ads, that’s how I ended up there. http://www.creaturecreature.com/
The day I lost out on a ferocious ebay bidding war for all of the episodes ever made was THE worst ebay loss ever for me! One man’s trash… 😀
I got out the movie a few years back when I was babysitting (who knows how it showed up in our collection), and I have to admit, it was pretty bad. I think the kids fizzed out on it well before I did!
I looked up a few sites, but I know there’s a couple of other fish people on here 🙂 She’s still puttering around though, at least.

I’m not sure about this one but it sure made me laugh 😆
Nostalgia ahoy!
I had a few MLPs when I was little, a mommy, a few babies. My sister and I also LOVED Puppy Surprise! We had a few of those, and used to build a schoolhouse out of blocks for our puppies 😀 But mostly I was wild about Breyer horses, I was one of those horse-crazy kids. I haven’t collected those for a while though, and my collection is pretty beat up from years of love from my sister and I. We played with those for countless hours.
I did start building up a little collection of My Little Ponies in high school, since they were relatively affordable collectibles for a teenager. I have quite a few now, especially the Summer Wing and Windy Wing ponies. I had one when I was about 5, and it was my favorite toy EVER. They’re still my favorite MLPs today!
One of my German Blue Rams is in distress–I bought her about 2 weeks ago with another female and a male, unfortunately I lost one of the females. The remaining two were doing fine, but now my female seems stressed, just listless, not swimming much, breathing hard. She just rests mostly, seems exhausted, trying to conserve her energy. I haven’t had the best of luck with these fish but I love them so much, and I’ve worked hard getting my tank set up properly for them. I’m off to go test the water chemistry again, the PH was 7.2 before I put them in and the hardness was low, but my other fish have been doing so well I haven’t done a full test for a bit.
Honestly, I didn’t think she’d make it through the night, but she’s still here and even coloring up a little. I wish I knew more to do for her…any suggestions?

Although the broken pieces glued together sounds cool, could be some sort of Chimera, LOL.
😆 😆 😆 I was thinking the exact same thing! The Windstone Chimera!

OMG
July 12, 2009 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Report Windstone Fakes/Knock offs/Infringment Pls read first #708585Yah–so he’s either full of crap or doesn’t know much about Windstones 😆 I humored him a bit; maybe he will edit the description.
I found one for $160. PM me if you’re interested, I’ll send you the information!
Double ditto!!
Also, bump 😉
July 12, 2009 at 5:14 am in reply to: Report Windstone Fakes/Knock offs/Infringment Pls read first #708583Thanks–I will. I actually sent him a message about it all and got a very fast response. Here’s how the conversation went:
“The signed versions of these armadillos are a new, 2009 release. The artist, Melody Pena, found a group of unpainted armadillo castings, and made a small signed batch for 2009. You may want to edit your description, and most buyers prefer to see a photo of the item, instead of the Windstone Store photography. Thanks for reading!”
“thanks i know this But this is the 1984 release that she signed not the 2009 version thanks”
“I see–that’s really cool! You might want to add that to the description though, you will probably get a lot more interest as the older armadillos are very rare, especially a signed one. I would suggest putting up a photo of yours; the photo you’re using is of the ’09 version, which is painted much differently than the 1984 version. Good luck with selling him. Thanks for getting back!”
Personally I think he’s either full of crap or doesn’t know much about Windstones.

Oh yah–then this one is selling the 2009 version of the Armadillo as a vintage 1984 one, though there’s no description. He’s also using the store photo.

Uuuuniiiiiiiiiiiiiiteeeeed!!! (falsetto) UNIIIIIIIIITEEEEEED!!!!
Yeah, I am definitely going to be hearing that hook for days! Very, very clever song. I’m showing this to my friends, I have a lot who are musicians who’ve had similar concerns 8) My only constructive critique would be that four and a half minutes is, sadly, a bit long for most people’s attention spans. I think one chorus could be cut without losing the effect, there’s a few too many. It would be a shame to trim any of those clever lyrics. This song reminds me of some ol’ Marty Robbins stuff. Love it!
Ooh, and he did a response to the video, which is in the information. Yeah, they did give him the finger for a year and then try to beat down his door with apologies and cover it all with cash–but he told them he’d prefer that they send the money to a charity of their choosing, and that he no longer wants the payout, just for people to know his story. Epic win! Karma’s a beeyotch ain’t it?
I was sitting at a light with my windows down, and there’s this car across from me with its windows down too, blasting Rock With You by Michael Jackson, and I can kinda hear voices singing. Amused, I inched up a little further, and in the back seat are two little boys, one still in a car seat, and they are SINGING THEIR LITTLE HEARTS OUT!! And they were GOOD!! And they knew EVERY WORD!!
I cheered for them, they laughed. So cute! I was sad to see the light change! Put a smile on my face the rest of the way home. That’s an advertisement for kids, right there! 😆
😆 @ DF! Rah rah rah!! Yeah! YEAH!! I’m pumped! LET’S DOOOO THIS!!!!!
I will then!! All they’d get out of my pockets is moths anyway. I did make some progress, got my appeal typed up and mailed in. I also spoke to the lady at my old work who had helped me with the forms when I was applying. She said no one contacted her after the claim was mailed, and the only two other people who could have spoken to EDD told her that they didn’t, when she asked them.
Something just isn’t fitting!! I’m hoping when I get my response from EDD, that they clear some stuff up for me.
*alarm bell* She said that when she went to my old boss, he said, no, no one from EDD called him, and that he barely remembered I had even gone ON disability. Yeah right!! This guy was bitching to another coworker less than a month ago about a minor incident involving him and me, that had happened frikkin 8-9 months ago. I SERIOUSLY doubt he would forget something like this, especially if he had spent an hour yelling and hooting and hollering about when he first discovered it.
