Just “Pebbles” seems perfect to me too. 🙂
Cross-posting them in different categories makes sense too.
So if a user knew to look for the term “Pebble animals”, then the category would be right there on the front page. And if a user didn’t know they were called Pebbles and just looked in the other categories, they’d still be able to find the Pebble Wolf under Wolves, the Pebble Cat under Cats and Kittens.
I’m currently repairing the one in the pic Wampus posted. Heh. Funny it comes up now. 🙂
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! THANK YOU!
I love Blueberry! This, or the Ocean colors, would be a perfect way to get some blue dragons into the production color balance…..
sajfdkllfshjkldhl want blue dragons!
Blueberry! Ocean Green! You’re killin’ me, Smalls!!
Setsuna, I had an Oriental Dragon for two years that I thought was a Dark. It wasn’t till I found a Light Young to go with it, that I realized my Adult was actually Light, not Dark! I think the transition from Light/Dark wasn’t overnight. Most of the Pea. Orientals I’ve seen, it’s easy to tell what they are, but some of them are a little more ambiguous!
Here’s all my Peacock Orientals together, minus my Dark Adult, which I got after taking these pics. They show the different shades pretty well though. 🙂
This is how my collection looked for a while–my room never gets direct sunlight, so I always thought the Adult matched the Young better than the Sun, it was hard to see the greens on the scales that indicate it’s Light:
…that is, till I put the Light Young up on the shelf with them. Suddenly the Dark Young is the odd one out:
Looking at the three of them, my Adult seems to be more of a median between the Youngs. The Light Young has tons of the fuschia that I love, the Adult is a little less bright but still perdy.
So yeah, there seems to be some evolution in the Light/Dark Peacock color on Oriental Dragons. 🙂
The ones with lots of purple and champagne are harder to find, so I’m sure you’ll be able to get a more blue/green one. 🙂 You already got the hard part out of the way!
For comparison here is the same photo angle on a Male Ki-rin with a properly aligned horn, from google images. The other one has a definite hook to the left. It will need to be pulled and replaced, most likely.
That Kirin looks like he has golden scales!
It’s not a production color Ki-Rin. 🙂 I think he is painted in lots of auburns and shimmery gold. Pretty huh!
Lots of positive thoughts being sent your way, Opal. <3

December 14, 2011 at 4:22 pm in reply to: FOR SALE: Tiger #1 Old Warrior, BEP Proto OW, Blue Ice Male, Turquoise Oriental 1, Amethysts, Black Golds… #865518That Paypal thing is RIDICULOUS, Wampus. I ‘got over the hump’ last year and having my funds held was…. I won’t rant about it here. Everyone has the same rant anyway XD
I’m not sure if this is against ebay rules, so I would need to check up on it before actually doing so, but I would be willing to list an item for a member if anyone needs to get around that stupidity. No commission taken out or anything like that. I just hate seeing people in this situation because of Paypal’s crippling policies for ebay sellers.
Only $800 for a fleabitten Ki-rin with a bent horn? What a steal. 9_9
It’s not the angle the photo was taken at; that horn is pretty bent/misaligned. Buyer beware.
The extra cost seems worth it to me, those spheres are just PERFECT for Moon Dragons. 🙂
I would love to see some really crazy fantasy babies, to match the outrageous ones in the last batch of Youngs. And more blues/purples/greens, people were all really loving those. Seems like the babies aren’t quite as labor intensive? But I’m only guessing there…
Best Comedy goes to Dragon for sure! XD The blooper reel was a stitch!
