I would love a liver chestnut done like my own horse 😛 Unlike the mother unicorn he has a dark brown to red body (depending on the time of year) with a dark brown/black looking mane (and no he’s not a bay, the mane and tail are a very dark brown that look almost black in the right lighting). I just dont like that flaxen mane and tail with the dark brown body. I think I voted for almost all the natural colors though 🙂 I would love to have as many hoofer options as their are for dragons

Brown body, darker mane and tail, but he’s not a bay? Does he have black points? I only saw a deep chestnut like that once, he was pretty.

Sounds like someone hit his midlife crisis–that moment they get selfish, especially when their wife isn’t a machine that never breaks down. Quite frankly, I think he needs a nice fish slap upside the head! He’ll continue to support you and the boyohs whether he likes it or not (and whether you remain married or not).

          >_> They get more selfish? The ones my age are already pretty bad.

There will always be wine and Windstones, right? T_T

Really makes you wonder about your decision making skills. If I goofed up the marriage decision so badly, what other important things have I screwed up?

            tdm

People can be quite good at hiding who they are when they want. It’s not your fault and it’s possible that he has only recently changed into this person. You did not screw this up. Him being a douchy a-hole screwed this up.

I’m glad so many people have said so many good words because I seriously have none, read through your post with my jaw on my desk.

I’m so sorry TDM. 🙁 Major major hugs.

Would tea help your bronchitis symptoms, at least? I swear by Throat Coat, there’s nothing else like it. And a cup of tea might not be a bad idea given all the mega-crap you’re going through. And more hugs.

I think you SHOULD send his ugly butt to camp. In fact, I’ve heard of a marvellous unicorn camp. They have all sorts of delicious snacks like skittles and pumpkin pie, rainbows to gallop on, and lots of lady unicorns to keep ’em company. Oh, and of course, no dragons anywhere! I forget what the camp is called, let me think… oh, that’s right, it’s called “Scenceable’s unicorn camp”. It’s located at this person scenceable’s house. Yep. Pink grand unicorn should definitely be sent there. It’s perfect. Go pack him up. xD

                LOL over 9000! XD

Aw thanks. 🙂 I don’t know how much shyness came into play… Same fellow I was busted up over a few weeks ago. We’d split off, then he said he does still want to keep seeing me. Haven’t known exactly where I stand with him. So Valentine’s Day was a loaded topic this year I guess.

It was more like he went out of his way to avoid the whole day or making any acknowledgement. Still sent the dodo a text to wish him a happy day anyway. Because I’m a dodo. 😛

Valentine’s Day was a bit rough. Wanting to hear from that one special person. Not having high hopes. Just hoping so hard for ‘anything but nothing’. Trying not to overanalyze or get sucked into the commerical sillyness.

Focus on sending happy thoughts to friends and family instead, buy a box of chocolates to share with people at work, make a couple cards, being thankful for special people.

But nothing from that one special person.

I live with my sister now and only deal with a fraction of these sorts of tensions. Phew! But boy do I feel you guys on messy housemates. Used to live with 3-4 guys in college. The trash and dishes were insane.

I did end up finding a solution that worked wonderfully though. I made a spinning chart with our names on it. (Held together by a little brad in the center–like the ones you’d make in grade school.)

When your name came up on the chore wheel, it was your turn to take out trash/wash dishes/buy toilet paper (we made separate charts for each).

You could put it off as long as you wanted, but you were only going to make it worse for yourself if you procrastinated!! Bigger pile of dishes, mountain of Jenga-trash, no TP.

We had a couple weeks to adjust, but the boy housemates actually took to it really well. And they figured out mighty fast that if their name was on the wheel, it was WAY better to just take out the trash or dishes before they got bad.

It did require all of us to participate and take the wheel seriously, but it worked great! Plus there was a huge psychological reward in doing the chore, then turning the wheel to put it on the next person’s turn. 😉

Finally got my baby outside for photos! He’s in the store pic as well. I’m open to trades, but I’m really liking this guy so please don’t be heartbroken if I decide to keep him. <3

The babies I liked the most in this batch were any with lots of teals, blues, purples, and violet shift paint. And I definitely preferred the stripey ones over the spots for this batch. I would also be open to trades/partial trades for the items in my signature.

I would post the blog pic with my faves circled but I am finding that they look so different in member photos, that's its nigh impossible to narrow them down!

Finally got a chance to take photos of mine. 🙂 It’s hard to get all those colors captured, especially the purples. I’ve started calling him “Goldbutt”. He doesn’t seem to mind….

I really like him–he matches one of my GB Youngs! I’d be open to trades, but it would have to be something really special since this one is pretty awesome. 😉 I’ll post more details in the trade thread. But for now, pics!

Too adorable! Puppies are just made to melt hearts. 🙂 The little grunts they make are my favorite.

How much longer till they get to go home?

What a great head on those shoulders. Good job Mom!!!
