Okay I took some pictures! I’ve decided its a he. And while he’s a little monochromatic, I do totally totally love him. To me he looks like a bright copper penny that’s moved into molten gold at the top. I’m totally in love.

I got mine and I’m so excited. I almost died of cuteness overload. I hope Melody paints a ton more because I’ll wait with baited breath for the sale! I haven’t taken a picture of mine yet, but I can see it in the middle of the top picture on the first page in post #6. It’s all this gorgeous metallic yellow with a bronze bottom and deep green eyes. It’s a bit plainer than some of the other more colorful ones, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it all the same. Even my hubby went ‘awwwwww’ when he saw it. No one has commented on it yet, but they have the CUTEST butt. Seriously. You just wait for the little tail to wiggle.
OMG a Wish List Thread. I’ll keep it simple.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE if you did a Sea Serpent multiple piece creature, you know the type that you have three or four coils coming out of the ground with a fancy dragonesque head and tail all seperate? I’d love these in any size (but I’d love them in every size and purchase them all – even in multiple paint schemes) and would kill for PYO’s smallish of this type and maybe garden art. No one does great sea serpents anywhere and I think you’re an artist well up for the task. Please consider it!
Flions. Love Flions. They need updated paint styles and brought into this fancy generation. PYO Flions would be amazing.
Hippogrifs. Mmmmmm yea. PYO Hippogrifs too.
Grab bag young Pegasi. I know someone said the wings would be a nightmare, but price accordingly. We are junkies. We’ll go for it.
I would love to see a new flapcat sculpt. Something reclining, stretched out, large or small. I love seeing cats stretch, forward, backwards, even with wings stretching. Love cats. Everyone loves them. Everyone loves flap cats too. But we have a lot of them in the same colors or family of colors. New colors would be great too. I think everyone would go GAGA over GB Flapcats for sure. And as you’ve probably seen, the wilder the colors the better.
More grab bag anything because man we almost die of excitement and I don’t remember being that excited in a long time. You’ve made junkies out of us. Now that I have a smartphone I have a shot and I’m totally in love with the OOAC uniqueness idea. I could seriously get uni’s both young and babies couple times of year and never get tired of it. Support our addiction.
That’s my list. But my highlighted, underlined, gold star wish is the sea serpent! Please do one!

This might be over sharing but I wanted to tell a story…
Mine came today and honestly there isn’t a happier collector anywhere. I have been away from Windstones for a long time because something happened and I was so sad it wasn’t even funny. A number of years ago Windstones Edition sold five black grand unicorns on ebay and I was the lucky person that got the first one. I treasured it with all my heart and slowly collected and kept my fingers crossed until I had a full set of blacks. I was so proud of that set. I loved it so much I kind of thought of that set as one of my most treasured possessions. And then we hit some hard times in life – really hard times – and it started with a tree down causing a very leaky roof that almost threw us over the edge financially and ended with my husband loosing the engine in his truck. It was with a heavy heart I put my whole set of blacks up on ebay and sold them all as a set to a woman in California to get him the cash to buy the used engine to put in his truck so we could both keep working and fix the roof too.
Wow… tough times.
And to make matters worse, our house was broken into and the remainder of our Windstones were stolen, which granted was just a full set of peacock dragons. With this back to back blow, I couldn’t even look at Windstones for a few years… until we got back on our feet, got out of school (we were working full time and in college etc), and got older. My husband eventually as thanks replaced my blacks with whites (except for the grand which we haven’t found one yet but will someday) and I’ve began to really enjoy them again. I’ve done several PYO and love them, but I’ve never managed to get a grab bag edition because of a slow country internet connection.
Bring on the smart phones! When I got that notice on my email I was so happy I could cry. But when I went to the site (immediately) they were sold out. For a half hour I hit refresh over and over again until just by chance one came into stock again. I bet someone lagged out on checkout or something. I feel sorry about that, but I’m so happy it happened because I got my little guy in the mail today.
And truthfully I couldn’t ask for a better one! I fell in love at first sight. Thank you so much for sending such a special unicorn. I know they are all special, but I love mine best. I don’t know how you guys trade like you do! But anyhow, here’s my little baby! Sorry about so many pictures, but I’m a proud momma! If Hannah wants to use any of these, fine by me.
