Let me know if anyone has any questions or issues! Thanks so much to everyone who’s participating!!!October 7, 2021 at 10:05 am in reply to: October Pay It Forward Raffle – I am hosting and I would love you to enter! #1648555I would love to enter as well! Thanks so much- what a fun option of prizes.
I just looked at last years gift swap, and I’m so excited to see what I can send my person! I’m so glad I found this community and I love the new friends I’ve found through it. Thanks for being a bright spot in my world!
Mika- I’ll encourage people to post photos in both places so everyone can see them!
For everyone stressing about about prompts and if your recipient will love it, I know the feeling. When I stress to much, I take a step back for a day or two, and try to come back with fresh eyes. From what I’ve seen, people love what they get from these swaps. I love seeing what everyone comes up with!Just sent in my email as well! I haven’t done one of these yet, so very excited!
Is there a thread with past examples? I know you had a price point to start at, but I’d like to see any examples if I could!
So, just a quick check in on all my PYO swap participants- How’s everything going? Have you been able to get the figure you wanted to paint? Any questions we can help with?
Please remember not to mail them until November 1st, even if you finish it earlier!Just so I’m accountable too, I have the blank, but still waiting for inspiration to take hold before I start painting.

Message me here or email me at brenlower@gmail.com Please make sure to put Windstone PYO in the subject so I know what to watch for. If you don’t hear from my email within a few days, please message me here instead- it may have gone to my junk mail.
I’m also on facebook in a couple of the Windstone fan groups.PYO Painting Rates:
My price ranges depending on the complexity of the piece- these prices are estimates only! Extra complicated or specialized paints may require additional cost. I do have some extra eyes from Windstone, plus some specialty eyes (extra cost) that we can discuss using.
As you can see from my examples, I’ve painted mostly dragons, but do have some experience with other sculpts as well. I am willing to work with a wide range of colors, love metallic paints, and enjoy discussing possibilities with you. None of the prices below include the sculpture or the price of shipping back to you. Typically, I like people to buy the sculpture and ship it directly to me. We can work out other arrangements if you’d like. I do not generally have extra sculpts on hand, so please take that into consideration.
I do work full time plus have other commissions I work on, so may not be able to do rush jobs. My typical turn around once started is 4-6 weeks after receiving the sculpt.Sculpture__________________Painting Only!

Hippocampus_______________$75-$125Types of paint/materials used: I use craft acrylics/metallics and Arteza Metallic paints, depending on the desired outcome. I have used antiquing in several of my projects, and I finish by sealing with a clear finishing spray.
Are pet portraits offered (when applicable): I haven’t done any pet portraits, but would be willing to try.
Shipping method (e.g., double boxed, UPS only, etc): All shipping will be done in Windstone boxes- double boxed and well padded. I prefer USPS, but am willing to discuss options.
Shipping rates/insurance: I charge you what the post office charges me to ship. I can include extra insurance if desired at your cost.
Ships to: US and Canada
Artist location: Utah, US
Do you take payment plans or have any “Terms of Service”:
Typically, I like people to buy the sculpture and ship it directly to me- I consider this a good will gesture, and don’t require a down payment if you are sending the sculpture to me. If that is not possible, a down payment of the cost of purchase and shipping of the sculpt would be acceptable.
Price of the piece plus shipping is typically due once the piece is finished and before I ship the piece. I am willing to work with people, and I stay in contact by sending photos of progress along the way. Please message me with questions! I love painting these beautiful sculptures, and would love to work with you on a project!
I’m including a few samples of my work, but see this thread for even more!
Ooo! Ooo! I’d love to join!
