Thanks guys! Yeah I have been fighting it for like 15 years now. Its not always horrible, mostly a dry rash that is not tooo red.
My sister had something similar and nothing worked ’til she used Kenalog spray.
Posted at the same time as the beautiful black dog, and good pics of him at that!
Oooh! Some beautiful cats! Ours are rescued and always seem kinda small to me…
I grew up with exotics (parrots, snakes, gekkos, even rescued skunks & flying squirrels), but now I’m embarking on an adventure with farm animals (goats now, horses next) and it’s definitely different for me!
Cats are Archimedes and Guidie (16 years old, but doesn’t know it).
Dogs are Perth and Bosky (it’s very difficult to get a good picture of a black dog…) (The orange kitty is CK Dexter Haven, who really was Perth’s cat.) The goats are Hoot & Nanny (Hoot was prenamed, Nanny is actually “Dream Maker’s White Tipped Star”, but I was told I could rename her… DONE!Jade? yes, if that’s the same as emerald coiled.
Do you really have the autumn leaf OW? (GORGEOUS!) AND a BEP Secret Keeper? Wow!Can we see the mule?
You did a fantastic job on the resculpt! What did you use? Both my brown male & female came with chips (kinda large), but I’ve not yet been brave enough to try to fix ’em. (And then I’d have to match the paint as well…)Grin. Thank you, I love him! He watches me when I’m on the computer.
2-3 hours/day?! I wish… I live with a 3 yr-old dictator who would never tolerate me being on the computer that long (though she does like watching all the dragons as I scroll down, esp. the pink? scratching of Ski’s. What color is that?)
As for where in NM, we’re in Bosque Farms, which is just south of Albuquerque (10 minutes). Love it.
Took a few pics and posted them…doesn’t include all (have 20, including, not pictured: 2 critic bookends-lov ’em, butt polar bear-makes me grin, em hatching kinglet-an absolute favorite, brown OW, green & em mothers, green young, gargoyle, peacock hatching… and 2 new curled dragons on the way!)
Don’t know how to insert pics yet, but here’s the link.
http://groups.msn.com/dave7kim7kiera7ryan/dragons.msnw?Page=1I’ve wanted to have Windstones in my dragon collection since I saw my first ones in college… and they belonged to a definite collector who is now in the 60+ age range, though I can’t see her on a computer forum with all the hobbies she maintains. BUT, take this as evidence that if you love them, you are likely to obsess more as you age, and there is at least one windstone lover in the 60+ category.
I’m so sorry! … you even took time to welcome me in the midst of everything. And your mom has the right of it, ashes should go back to the earth. Sorry again.
Ha! Of course I want my collection to grow! My husband asked me after my last purchase if I was done now. Yeah, right. Thanks all for the welcome!
Has anyone read David Edding’s Belgariad? (Pawn of Prophecy …) I thought Eragon borrowed heavily from those 5 books.
Wow! Spent some time on the Windstone website and just discovered the forum… Melody Pena fans in one place supporting the same addiction: very cool. I saw my first Windstone dragons about 16 years ago and loved them (brown father, green mother), but it was quite a while before I could afford to get my own. By then the browns were sadly no longer available, but I certainly coveted the little peacock hatchling that I could afford! By now I’ve built up a little collection and am happy to keep expanding it. Anyway, I’m thrilled to find so many Windstone lovers and I’m glad Melody continues to create!
