I found the stamps for the PYO kirins! Joy! 😀
And yes, I just cast a couple young orientals this morning… we’ll see how hard they are to scrape! D:

-J R R TolkienYes, PYO dragons are on their way ^_^ Not the keeper PYO dragon though, just the little guy. The keeper PYO dragon, unfortunately, has problems. More molds need to be made for it, and from what I understand they don’t have the right master to make them with…? I dunno, but it’ll be a while before we get any more keeper PYOs. :/
Fledglings are also on hold until more molds can be made of them, but they should be made soon.
Wish me luck finding the stamps for the PYO kirins!! Our searches today revealed nothing…

-J R R TolkienMOLDS! 😀 I found a crate FULL of molds that we need… including a few griffin chicks, the young oriental dragons, and several of the paint your owns – I’m casting PYO dragons now, and I have the PYO kirin molds, but not the stamp insert that fits on the bottom and gives them that neat little windstone stamp. :/ So I can’t cast those until I find them… why they weren’t packed with the molds themselves, only heaven knows.

A few miles down the road from me is a Tiger rescue. The workers there wanted to see him if I won. So i might take him down there and get his pic with one of their tiger cubs 🙂OMG 0_0 If you do you HAAAVE to take a picture!!! 😀 😀

I painted the crouching violet snow leopard chick today, and half a poad. 😀 I’m painting the poad to look like my bourkes parakeet Razel. She’s turning out pretty cute.
I will ask Melody about painting more griffin chicks – I imagine it will depend on what the original two go for! But either way, I can’t do any more chicks until the molds are found. Wish us luck!

-J R R TolkienMore chicks, huh? Maybe. But it won’t be for a while – the griffin chick molds are on the loose somewhere. We have to track them down and start casting them before I could paint any more!

-J R R TolkienI am casting curlies! I have a fair number of molds, too, so there should be some curlies in short order. Well, whenever we get painters to paint them. I don’t know what colors are planned.
We’re missing a lot of molds… Like the griffin chicks and the Cat’s Cradle and several others… I wish we had a few fledgling molds. Some of them should be drifting around, in a crate somewhere – the inventory I found with many of the molds I need was to a crate that apparently doesn’t exist anymore (meaning it probably got unpacked, scattered around, and then repacked into a different crate) so I’ve got the guys on the look out for missing molds for me… But many of them we just don’t have any molds for.
But there is hope! Our new mold maker started this week. HOORAY!
I left the girls on their own today, for the second time, to get them used to working without me. They’re doing very well! I’m not worried in the least about leaving the casting department to them.

…and in the meantime, my male violet snow leopard griffy is getting chicks. 😉 The sitting chick is done and I should have the crouching chick done tomorrow as well. We’ll see how long it takes the first female griffin castings to dry, and then he can have a mate, too!
