It would probably help if you were more specific.
What type of vintage items are you talking about? There’s all sorts of forums out there (My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, etc.) 🙂
Putting them into a sealed plastic bag with a dish of activated charcoal is supposed to help.
I did this and left the pieces sitting pad up for a while. They don’t smell anymore 🙂
Most of all I’d just suggest fresh air and time though. Don’t keep them closed up. They need airflow.

Got mine today! I was expecting that the odds were in my favor to get a brightly colored one, but the more I look at this one the more I fall in love with her. Isn’t she gorgeous? >.< Thank you Melody!

Hey guys! I just opened up my baby!
She’s definitely not one of the more vividly colored ones, but she is very lovely. She’s got black fur with lots of gold accents, and some little purple embellishments, golden hooves, and light blue eyes. Oh, and purple interference paint over the black so she shows a faint purple sheen when in the proper light.She wasn’t one of the one’s on my list, but I actually really like her. I’ll probably hold onto her unless someone gets my number one, but we’ll see. For now I’ll just say that I’m tentatively open to trades.
I’ll vouch too. Secert is super awesome. She’s kind and friendly and I love her to bits >.< Any uni would be lucky to live with her.
