So cute! Is it a baby or a full grown one? Kinda looks like a baby but it’s sometimes a little hard to tell with the miniatures.
I don’t know, I think it was on Pinterest and I just copied the pic because it was so adorable.
Oh, and if the cougar GB could PLEASE include natural safari. I must admit though, I love going through the young and baby unicorn GB threads and the fantasy are definitely growing on me. (and another baby unicorn GB would be SO wonderful for those of us who weren’t in the game when they came out – just thought I’d throw that out there 😉 )
You’re actually getting close (4 hours) to my neck of the woods – north GA. Congratulations on the stamp, that is incredible. Hope you have a wonderful time.
Tanukis vs Cougars – we can’t lose. I am probably more psyched for the cougars, but I can’t wait to see what you do with the tanukis.
Decisions, decisions …….my vote – cougars.
Hey, it’s all good and EXACTLY what a forum is intended to be, a place for people to express their opinions. Customers being honest about their likes and dislikes is invaluable to a company in order to gauge how well they are meeting their customers desires and what directions they may wish to take in future.
That is the beauty of widening your product line. One line of products that may not appeal to one segment of your market may find a whole new market out there to be brought into the fold, so to speak. The fantasy figures are what caught my daughters’ attention years ago and brought Windstone onto our radar screen. But the pebbles, while they may not appeal as much to some of the old buyers, have an appeal all their own for others. I love both, but they are very different in nature. The beauty of this forum is to let Windstone know what some of the diehard collectors are after.
The grab bags were an idea that (from my perception) appear to have been almost a throwaway offering that resulted from a less than perfect casting batch – but look how they caught fire. – Please correct me if I am wrong in my history of the GBs. – And so Windstone has taken the grab bags and run with them, with demonstrable great success. In this economy, a company must be willing to adapt to the market and it would appear WIndstone has done an outstanding job of that. Another plus for the pebbles is that, overall, they are less expensive than the fantasy sculpts and so are easier for people to collect.
Agreed, the cougar is on a whole other level – IMO.
But they’re such CUTE little knick-knacks….. but if you are saying they can’t match the fantasy figures in the wow factor, I can’t argue.
^^^^Yes, yes you did. 😉
And I am so down for wolf pups, capybaras, llamas and ferrets.
Ms.Melody,We know you are a very busy lady but…I was wondering if you would/could consider making a couple of little pebble wolf puppies in the future? We know they would be absolutely adorable.Just a thought
I’ve got tons of pebbles I want to make, just need to find time!
Suggestions welcome!Weelllll…since you asked…
*Red Panda!!!! Imagine all the fun fantasy colors that could be done with that ring tail!
*Capybara! They’re just so awesome hehe. I love them!
And the ONLY reason I know what a capybara is, is because my oldest is a walking encyclopedia on animals. And you’re right, they would be awfully cute.
^^^^ oh my gosh, those are gorgeous.
@Natashvonlemke Those birds ARE gorgeous – especially the Indian Roller.
Pardon me for being a pill, but would it be possible to get any sort of a time frame on the GB cougars? (and perhaps a sneak peek  ) I keep trying to envision what they might look like and all my brain will conjure up are the gorgeous ones we have seen on eBay and the strawberry cougars you posted a while back. Granted – those are incredible, but I would presume those are too intricate for a grab bag.
Thank you, so tickled to have them.
