I have a mint condition black gold scratching dragon for sale (or trade). Hes only been on display in a glass cabinet and he still has his original box and tags.
I would like to get about $150 for him or I’d be willing to trade if you dont have the extra cash. (or do a combination trade/cash) I’m not really interested in PYO’s though and I dont like rainbow pieces very much. It would be nice to get another scratcher, but in a different color or a Ki Rin. I’m open to all kinds of offers though.
Heres some pictures of him;
You can post here in the thread or PM me if your interested! Thanks for looking!
I’m looking for a pink curlie dragon in mint or excellent condition. Its for my youngest sister whos graduating next month. It would be her first Windstone- I mentioned it in passing during a conversation a few days ago and I didnt think she would’ve been that into it but she really was and she really wants one. I wish I’d known when they were in the store! I’d love to find one for her.
If anyone has one that they would be willing to sell I’d love to hear from you and maybe we can work something out!EDIT: Found/Purchased one from a response to this post! Thanks!
I’ll be 23 next week!
OK- I’ve worked out a trade so hes taken now! Thanks for the offers/interest/PMs!

Aww I’m glad you like her so much. I love my little young peacock, he looks so cute with the emperor and mother pieces. π
And thanks!I’ve got a black young unicorn for sale or trade right now. I’ll start any offers at $50 or you can PM me with a trade idea and we can talk it over.
He is not in mint condition, I bought him in a slightly used condition early in the year. The previous owner wrote on the bottom of the Windstone felt/logo (you can still see the logo though). And hes got a small chip the left side of his nostril.
And on the same side, hes got a small chip missing from his mane, but it has been covered up with an attempted repair which looks pretty good. I had to look closely to see it, the only way you can tell its there is that there isnt the mane/hair detail in that spot.Aside from those little injuries, hes a beautiful piece, and if you bought him and didnt plan to have the minor dings fixed by someone on the forum, if you display him from his right side, you cant see a thing wrong with him.
Heres some pictures;
A closer look at his nose;
You cant even see the patch on his mane in the pictures. I would keep him myself but there are other pieces I would like more, whether that comes in the form of a trade or money towards another piece.
And the previous owner did not have his box, but I have safely/successfully packaged and sent many Windstones that didnt have the original boxes without any problems.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks! So do I! This has been very helpful though, I’ll post pictures up when hes fixed.

Ok and just any black paint? And where would you say is the best place to find those things?
I moved my peacock emperor dragon today to a different display spot and decided to change his position/the way I usually view him. And after doing so, I noticed a chip in his paint that I hadnt before.
The chip is on the deep blue part of his color and its pretty small, but now that its caught my attention, I can see it across the room- and its driving me a little nutty. I dont want to send it off to be fixed because he dosnt have his original box and I dont want to risk shipping him.
So can anyone here tell me how I might fix him? Most of the chips I’ve ever noticed on a windstone piece have been on the gold parts of the pieces and were easily fixed with a gold leafing pen. But I dont know of anything like that that would work for these colors. And I know basically nothing about paints.
Can someone help me out/give me some advice? What should I buy/in what color/how should I best apply it?
Thanks!
-MelMy crouching black griffin chick has a pretty small amount of blue on him- but its lacking more on the tail and above the beak (you can barely see color there) than it is on the wings.
My sitting black griffin chick has great color all around.
Either way I love them to pieces.Stephanie wrote:VampireBiscuits wrote:Stephanie wrote:Lovely! Let me know if you ever want to sell that black griffin. π
Haha I would but hes one of the very last I would ever sell, hes got quite a high sentimental value. Have you gotten your chicks yet?
Not yet. They’ll probably come in tomorrow, but I’ll be out of town until Sunday so I won’t get to see them (or the other ones that are on their way!) until Sunday night. π
Aw I hate that. But waiting really is half the fun. Post pics when you get them!

Thats funny, lol, I had never owned or ever really seen a Windstone unicorn in person so I was actually expected the young unicorn to be bigger and I guess the Gothic Unicorn was about the size I had imagined him as. I love him- my husband dosnt like him that much because he keeps comparing it to the dragons, but the gothic unicorn is now one of my favorite pieces I have- even though hes got a little chip on one of his back hooves.
