I’m trying to lose weight this summer too. I’ve picked up on some good tips and tricks. I’ve got a good schedule goin. The first step is to cut out pop and caffine as much as you can and replace it with water or tea but water is best. Second don’t eat after 8pm, and drink water if you do get hungry because it fills you up. Third, this is a nice little trick, get in at the most 1800 calories a day and after eating chase anything you eat with an orang or any fruit or vegitable that has omega 3 fatty acids in it. The acid in it breaks down and eats away the fat in what you eat. Not all of it, it leaves some for you body to have because everyone need a little fat. And then, do alot of walking. I try to get in at least 3-4 miles in a day. But start out slow. I can fit all of this in because I’ve nothing to do this summer. But it doesn’t take long and its easier than most weight loss plans. I just figured out what worked for me.
I never really classified his movies as anime. I’ve watched a few animes and found that the heroine is always whiney and annoying and completely useless, accept for a select few. A little unknown fact about Hayoa Miyuzaki is that he his a feminist. All the heroins and women in his movies are strong independent women which contredictes all of Japanese culture and their view on women, hence the role many women play in the animes that they make. In Princess Mononoke all the iron that came from the town was maid by women. I’m not a feminist but I found that fact interesting. I’ve always found his films to be works of art.
I know, I like both of those too. There was no clear bad guy in Howl’s moving castle either. There was a crazed evil person in Castle in the Sky. Anyone who hasn’t seen these movies, you might want to look into it.
Oh, good I wasn’t sure if anyone here was a fan. Princess Mononoke and Spirited away are some of my favorites, along with Nausicaa.
Good luck with your book, I can’t imagine writing something like that could be easy. The one story I’m focused on right now does have a clear cut good and evil but its the oldest form of it there is still I’m writing the point of views from each side which I don’t think many people have done or many people even think about. Its been taking a lot of research but its coming along slowly but getting there either way.
Oh trust me, its worth it. I warn you, this is not for those obsessed about weight loss. Eating one or two is okay but unfortunatly you can just eat one or two -_-
I was just thinking about it too. I thought there could be things to add to it. Like nuts or instead of chocolate, using caramel. There is a lot you could do with this recipe.
That is true, but I know of one guy that did a fantasy where there was no clear evil in any of it. Just difference of opinions and both sides have there good and bads. I don’t know if you’ve ever watched a film called “Princess Mononoke” but it is really good. The man who makes these films has such an imagination its crazy. I don’t think there is anything he can’t come up with. His stories are unconventional but always send out a message.

No, but my brother goes there for Med school. I do visit often though because I plan on going there for grad school.
Its nice to have the summer off from summer school and work but I would like to have a money flow going. But having the summer off is nice, though really boring at times. There’s not much to do where I live. Writing is a lot of work and can take a lot out of you if you forget where you want the story to go or if you change your mind about it.
Thanks for the pics of the old green GB ^_^ he’s cute.
Congrats on all the your accomplishments and thanks. This past writers block is lasting forever >_<
Oh I’m telling you, you’ll be addicted from the first bite! I’m not sure, but I’m pretty possitive that God gave us this recipe 😯
Wow, I’m glad you’re okay. This reminds me of the first time I broke a bone. It was two years ago and I was proud of the fact that I had never broken one before. Then I met Ryan, two days later I was in a horrific snowboarding accident. I was boarding at The Wisp and just started going down Squirrel Cage (I’m not sure how many diamonds it was) but it was a really steep trail. I just started going down when a skier cut me off, making me swurve and hit a patch of ice. So I fell but it was to steep for me to stop myself. I proceeded to fall down a 25 foot rock face, breaking my arm in two places. Falling into a lot of snow which broke my fall for the most part but I did sprain my ankle pretty bad. Then I rolled down the rest of the trail, smacking into the back of the lodge. So, the ski patrol guy finally catches up to me and says “Dude! Are you okay?” I just stared at him and held my tongue because God knows I would have ripped him a new one. But I never broke a bone before in my life till after I met Ryan, of which it has been a wonderful two years and running ^_^
I know what you mean when you say its sickening. Nothings worse then hearing your own arm or anything break. I probably would have been able to stop if the breakaway system on my board worked and snapped itself off when I fell. But it didn’t and thus the falling down the mountain >_< I'm not sure if that's quite like a car accident but I'm guessing its pretty close.
Word of advice, just relax and don’t stress for now, it will only take you that much longer to recover. And when they say its okay for you to move and do stuff, work your soreness out gradually but remember to work at it as much as possible. It makes the healing go faster, don’t do too much though, don’t strain. Everything will work out, don’t worry.
I look young for a 21 year old. I still look like I’m 16. I swear, sometimes I get carded for orange juice >_<
That’s me, my name is Heather but everyone calls me by my middle name, Anne. I’m currently going to college to teach english literature at a college level. Studying dead playwrites from the 1500’s and what not. I know, seems boring but it can be fun. The best thing to do to make it interesting is attach monty python quotes to everything 😛 You’d be surprised how true all of that is. I do writing on the side and when I can during the school year but usually I’m booked with all the reading that is involved in my major. But that’s about it.
I’m gonna look for an old green, I’m curious to see what it looks like.
My sister in law taught me how to make these. They are very easy and only take fifteen mintues at the most to make one batch.
Ingredients and directions:
First off, get a cookie sheet and put some wax paper in it and cover it with butter or margarin, which ever. You should have a second piece of wax paper about the same size as the first also covered in butter or margarin, but keep that one on the side for later use.
1 cup: Corn syrup
1 cup: SugarHeat up corn syrup in a pot till it starts to get easier to stur wich will be a matter of seconds, then add your sugar and stur.
1 cup: Peanut butter
When your pot begins to boil around the sides its time to add in the peanut butter and stur till you have a creamy mixture.
6 cups: Rice Crispies
Have your rice crispies in a bowl and pour the pot into it. Stur untill everything is covered and then pour all of it into your cookie sheet. This is where the second piece of wax paper comes in. Flatten out the rice crispies as much as you can without making a mess and then play the wax paper down with the butter side on the rice crispies. Then get out anything that would make it easier to flatten out. I use a bakers role, makes it a heck of a lot easier.
Depending on your love for chocolate:
Cook up some chocolate bark in the micro wave, you can use half a pack or the whole thing depending one how much you want. Chocolate bark works the best for this kind of thing. After all of that is melted, take off the first layer of wax paper and pour on the chocolate. Even all of it out and then put it in the fridge till the chocolate gets hard. It won’t take very long so becareful how long you leave it in. After that It should be ready to cut up into individual pieces.
Trust me this is the best cookie ever. Its like a reeses peanut butter cup but better!
