Nice collection. I agree with Dragon Master, it’s not that small at all!

*drools* That would be! 😀
Ooooooooo!!! 😯
Well, now that the flood gates have been opened….
I would have really been down on Brit if this had happened a couple of years ago. Since then, I’ve had quite a few hard life bumps and I’ve soften somewhat.
Since everyone was making such a fuss (on the internet) about her performance I went looking for the video. I only saw one performance on the MTV site with her in “the outfit”. In my opinion she was not fat at all, especially after 2 kids. The outfit was not appropriate for her at this time and well, very few non-18-year-olds would have been able to pull it off. Her performance was not top notch, but it didn’t seem totally bad either. She did seem a bid dazed, but it was hard for me to tell if she was on something, or she just wasn’t prepared for the routine.
What I found most interesting about all the criticism is that we do this to ourselves everyday in our society. I hear people around me all the time saying something about people behind their backs (people they know or perfect strangers). I think it is a vain attempt make ourselves feel better. In all fairness she made a lousy relationship choice and had a couple of kids (I have been told this can mess with your head) and then is trying to restart her career from her time off. She’s had a lot of emotional issues and I can only assume that those around her are probably not the best influences. I think anyone in that situation would not be at their best in any sense of the word.
I don’t want this to come off as me getting on anyone for criticizing her – that is not my intent at all. I just thought it an interesting mental exercise to see how we mirror ourselves in what we value or devalue in others.

I resemble that remark. 🙄

I was thinking the same thing.
Congrats! Pretty kitty and all!
GB – what color sitting spectral dragon is on the right hand side and third up from the bottom? I hadn’t noticed it before, but it almost looks like rainbow color, but to my knowledge it was never issued in the sculp.
Nice collection by the way. So are you going to add more shelves?
Also, keep an eye on the flea market as well.
I’ve PMed you a couple of links of website that have it advertised but I don’t know if they are current. Hope this helps.

I got the same message when I sent him other auctions that had their’s listed correctly. He’s a real winner.

Exactly!
My user name came from several places. Many years ago I was interested in (and had time to do) archery. I also like reading about different goddesses from ancient civilizations. The Greek goddess of the moon, Artemis (later known as Diana to the Romans) was said to be the protector of women and animals and carried silver arrows. I admire strong women role models so I use this archetype for my avatar and user name. Book geek that I am! 😀
I started collecting around 1996 and purchased 2 pieces and then another 7-8 over the next 10 years or so. In the last year and half my collection has reached 55 (give or take).
I have seen where several members had over 100 pieces. One collector who has sold off most of his, but at one time had around 700 (multiple duplicates – all mint and boxed). Others on the forum only have 1-5 pieces, but I would still consider them nice collections.

A big thanks to SPark for hooking me up! 😀
I believe my local store has a ruby OW in stock. PM me if you’re interested and I can get you their number.
Your local store is my local store, I’m pretty sure. (The Briarshop in the mall, yes?) And they said that was their last one.
Yes, the same store, I didn’t realize yours had come from there. Drat. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for one for you Dragonessjade. I’ll check with another store I know of in another town.
Nice collections everyone! I haven’t seen this thread since about page 2 – it sure has grown.
My sympathies! Can we do anything for you? Send ice cream?
