I love Frostpaw and Leafwing. Especially Frostpaw. I like the difference between the wolf and the wings. The wolf almost seems like stone, with life in the wings from the colors.

I’ve honestly had mostly great experiences with my Ebay purchases. (As far as Windstones go) 😀 Especially when I bought my Peacock Orientals. That seller was super communicative and packed the dragons so they would go unbroken through the end of the World. 8) I’ve had sellers send me thank you notes, I’ve had sellers work really well with me during Best Offer auctions. I think I’ve only had two people ship me Windstones that weren’t packaged properly, and they came through unharmed. I’ve been really lucky.

I always appreciate these group photos; they let me recognize which production colors really attract my eye. I keep being drawn to the the Red Fire color (I thought it would be the Olivia one, but nope 😕 ).

I agree. It helps me decide which one I want to buy next. Right now I like the Black Gold and then the Red Fire. Thanks to the guys who go to the work of putting these pictures together.

ok this was stupid, next time I’ll research for months before I’ll post a thread about something that I find interesting or something

I don’t think I was saying your comment was stupid. I just have always noted the similarity between the Sting and Crow face paint. And given the similarity, I thought it was relevant to the discussion. I honestly think the two are more similar then Joker and Crow. As you noted further on in the thread, Sting doesn’t have an extension of the smile but he does have an extension of his mouth.

As far as Brandon Lee goes, I think its far more eerie and he and his father both died after they were shot accidentally during filming. That’s quite a bit of bad luck for one family.

The sun really brings out the best in this coloring. I can definately see the tiger eye now. Very nice!

There is also a professional wrestler (Sting) that uses face paint in a pattern very similar to Brandon Lee. Been using it for years and no curse, injury, or death.

What’s the difference between bisque and soup? Is there really a difference or is it just semantics?

    From a posting on a website by a chef…
Bisque is a thick, rich soup usually consisting of smoothly pureed seafood (usually lobster or crab), vegetables or sometimes fowl, combines with heavy cream. The term soup usually refers to a combination of vegetables, meat or fish cooked in a stock or some other liquid. It can be thick (bisque, cream soup or chowder) or it can be thin (bouillabaisse or consommé). Both are traditionally served hot and garnished with something like croutons or cheese. So, while a bisque is a soup, a soup is not necessarily a bisque. Still confused? Some soups are traditionally served chilled as in: gazpacho a Spanish classic made from the season’s best tomatoes; or vichyssoise the timeless cold French soup of potatoes, leeks and onions.

So, between a bisque and a chowder, chowders typically contain potatoes and is chunkier, while a bisque does not and is more pureed and smooth, but not watery (thin). Soup is just a broad category.

Thanks for the info. I just had a yam bisque tonight. It was quite tasty. (and pureed!)
