So I should use the smaller format on the horizontal pictures only and keep the vertical at their biggest? 🙂
Sounds good to me. The OW’s side view and head shot have a little trimmed off the right hand side for me.
And oh, my, I’m melting over the multi-layered brown and those deep blue eyes!
Congrats Machineguts! 😀
Oh dear, and take care of yourself Melody!

Goodness knows she’s earned it! 😆

Resolutions for 2009
Post your resolutions here and next year, we’ll come take a look and see who stuck!!!Excellent idea!

Glad you’re avoiding such ‘fowl play’ 😆 Is there a story behind this resolution, or just a classic pesky brother?
Here’s my list. Here’s hoping…
New Years Resolutions
1. Work on my business 24 hours a week.
2. Dedicate 30 minutes a day to physical exercise (includes gardening and shuffling boxes around, thankfully)
3. Dedicate 30 minutes a day to meditation or similar things
4. Dedicate 30 minutes a day to study (classic lit, sculpture, etc)
5. Complete the organization of my stuff
6. Vanquish gluttony and sloth (or at least give ’em a hard time)
7. Improve and maintain contact with buddies
8. Finish current projects before starting similar ones
9. Work on ‘greenness’ (more of salvaging stuff and living modestly, rather than running around in designer bamboo while preaching)
10. Work on frugalityAbsolutely gorgeous, but they make me feel hungry! 😆
Those colors are so rich and tasty and delicious! Alas, at an estimated $66 per lb, Plum Poad is a little out of budget…
*OM NOM NOM!*
(Yes, bad, bad Maplecarver! 😆 )
He’s all handsome and glowing, like a cloud at the right second of sunset. I’m in! 😀
Santa sent me several awesome toy dinosaurs and I lent him a hand by preparing my feline ‘nephews’ stocking.
I don’t know how much of a hand he had, but I avoided receiving strongly scented candles, and I got several extra hugs. My family pitched in with some lovely ‘material’ goods.
I also got my garage semi-clean! XD XD XD
It’s been a rough year for folks, and I think because of this, Santa received a lot of deity-caliber requests. I stand guilty, even if I mostly hinted. In these rough times, voicing these is essential for morale, to gain courage and sympathy to hold tight and handle things. But I’m tenatively guessing that Santa’s more qualified for talking about sleigh maintenance, favorite cookies, and why material things aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
Still, it’s a festive theme, fun, and I’m sure he read everything. Take care Santa, and here’s hoping you have a nice tropical vacation in January!
Some modern art is okay (Alexander Calder’s mobiles are pretty neat, and I’ve seen some brilliant abstract sculptures with a high degree of craftsmanship)
But a heck of a lot of modern art stands only on excellent salesmanship, promotion, and a lot of big fancy words to justify it. 30-50 years from now, history may take a kinder view, but in my eyes, not even a sweet little Poad can redeem it.

*hugs* Take care of yourselves, guys.
I have some difficult stuff to deal with, but reading of things on the forum, it reminds me of how many extraordinary boons and blessings I have to be thankful for as well.
Here’s to a gentle and prosperous New Year for everyone.
I’ll hang out on the sidelines too. He’s a cool little critter, but my shelf space is tight, and I want to give those who love him more, or have never won an Ebay piece, a better shot. But this is totally sweet, and a lot of fun to watch! 😀
On the Eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me, Eleven Youngsters Squeaking…
(Afraid the diversity may be cheating, but it was the only way I could pull off 11 😳 )

Hee hee! Or a quality bolt of cloth, or a Windstone… 😆
I haven’t recieved too many bad gifts. Usually I stash it away for a year or two till it irks me enough that I goodwill it. But one ugly-as-sin ceramic mask is now hanging by the chicken coop to scare away raccoons. So far, so good. 😆
That’s so incredibly sweet! But my gosh, you’ve already done so much. Thanks to you I was able to get my sweet little Cuttle Poad, and I’m certain other people have similar stories.
If you win, that will be a totally awesome raffle to watch. But even if you don’t, heartfelt well wishes and pixellated hugs go one heck of a long way. *hugs you and anyone else in internet-arms reach*
I’d have to say, the Dark point Copper Lavender Prototype OW. Absolutely flipping stunning.
As a runner up, one of those Blue Merle scratching doggies. 😀
