I just received my peacock fledgie in the mail today! He’s so cuuuute! :shout:
I’d post pictures, but my camera is currently out of commission.
He’s in great shape; my second Windstone! I’m so excited! Still trying to come up with a name.

That she does. I completely forgot.
It’s okay though, we’ve been communicating via pm and everything is working out fine.
We’re not all that anonymous after a while though, are we? 😛
Thank you for the links!
That sounds like a lovely song; I wish there was a way I could hear what the tune was like. 🙂
And yes, it is a wonderful philosophy. Not one I’ve been taught, but every once in a while I find myself counting my blessings, and reminding myself that there are so many out there less fortunate than me.
We could use less teenage angst in this house, I can tell you. My poor parents; I just got done with the whole affair myself, and now my fourteen year old sister is starting in on them. Haha.
Nope, I got the pm. All is well. 🙂
I love fanfiction! I read a lot of it, though most of that involves wading through a quagmire of poorly written stories to get to the really enjoyable ones. I generally avoid crossover fics, since I’ve yet to read a good one.
I do write some but I never get around to finishing because my ideas are too big and complicated. I’m too lazy to make it all flow together. 😳
So, I stick to one-shots. I think my writing style is quite good, but my plot is always lacking something, so I don’t usually share…
That is so wonderful! Amazing name, too! How is the little guy doing?
Many congratulations!
Have you ever been doing something repetitive, boring, or just not very enjoyable when for some reason you get the completely unrelated feeling that life is good?
For example, about a week ago I was heading home after a long, hard day at work when a series of of small revelations made me glow inside. As I was driving, I had the window down and realized how comfortable the air was for that time of day; not too hot, not too cold. I noticed how beautiful the sunset was. I recognized that, even though I’m 20 years old and still living with my parents, I had the good fortune of going home that evening and seeing my family, maybe even sitting down to play some video games with my awesome little sister.
It wasn’t like I had a particularly great day, in fact, it kind of sucked. So I wonder why, all of a sudden, I just felt like reflecting on all the good things in my life?
Have any of you ever had one of these random moments of contentment pop up out of nowhere?
Share!
I’m February 22nd, 1990. That makes me a Pisces, and a Horse.
My Western Zodiac seems to fit me alright, but the Chinese one…not so much. Social? Popular? Attractive? No, no, and only sometimes. ;P
I prefer my Celtic zodiac sign above both of them. Ash. As in, the plant. The description is spot on.
Oh, goody! I’ve been wanting to get this out for a long while…
WHY, oh why, do customers always insist on going to eat at a restaurant like 5 minutes before closing time?! As a server, I always have to stick around for an hour afterward cleaning up, putting things away, and counting up my minuscule tips for the night. I bust my butt for you guys, being as honest and friendly as I can, and all you can tip me on your forty-dollar family meal is…what, two bucks? After all of the adding and subtracting of items and substituting of sides and splitting of checks and bellyaching about not getting your food fast enough and…AUGH.
Another thing. There are at least six clean, set tables for you to sit at…so why do you insist on sitting at a dirty table, when I’m the only server on duty and I’m so busy I can hardly see straight?! Waaaaaahhhh~!!………
-inhale, exhale-
Okay, I’m good now. 😳So….I think that was somewhere between whining and ranting. I apologize.

SeashellsI’m 20 years old, myself. Got my first Windstone, a peacock Scratcher, when I was 15. He was something like $200 when I got him, so needless to say my parents weren’t thrilled.
I love my “Scratch” and have taken very good care of him. It’s always funny to see a friend’s expression when they walk into my room and I am petting him, praising him for his beautiful, colorful scales.

I’m not sure what happened, but I didn’t get the pm. Could you please try again?
I’m sorry, that was meant for the seller of this thread.
Haha! I see. No, I’m sorry, for being a dork. 😳#37, Peacock Lap Dragon.
I am very interested.Only thing is…you probably don’t negotiate prices at all, do you? 🙁
How did your surgery go? Are you okay?
I really want that $80 Gryphon but like I said, I need to see those pictures first. What kind of scuffs does he have? 🙂
