Really excited that I will be taught by Dr. Zahi Hawass. He is the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities in Egypt. If anyone has watched the Discovery or History channel he is always on their Egypt documentaries. He thinks he has discovered Cleopatra’s tomb! I might be able to go to the dig site!

Setsunwolf I am with ya there. I am going to Egypt this fall for grad school. It’s almost like do I want something really nice from Egypt or a griffin. You know what would slove this! An Egyptain Griffin! Ok Melody, Arlla and Jen you should try and make a Egyptain style griffin. I am not the only Ancient Egypt fan on here 😀

would be more natural lookingI will admit I have a few webkinz pets, the unicorn, dragon , and Arabian. It’s actually a fun thing to play when your bored. They have come out with a Griffin pet! It’s super cute. It’s from th estore only. Wish they made it into a plushie. They hardly ever make griffins into plushies. I mean I would have thought at least beanie babies would have, oh well no love for the griffins 🙁

At my parents house they have a full size carousel War horse as you walk in. He’s mounted on marble. My dad’s friend carves carousel horses as a hobby. I have one in my room as well. Shes white with Ivy along with butterfly’s and ladybugs all over her, she even has a fox hiding under her saddle. Next time I go home I will take pictures if anyone wants to see.

I never had a zuni but I did just buy a Onyx griffin off of ebay from national Geographic. I think he is very unique and pretty.

Just a tad insane XDI am in school studying Interior design and history. I am about to go to grad school in the fall to specialize in ancient history and my focus is Ancient Egypt. I am actually going to Egypt next year.
As most of you know I Love griffins and I had a dream a week ago about an egyptian griffin. I am not an artist and I have tried to recreate the Egyptian griffin from my dream but it always looks like a child drew it. Very frustrating. The talent on this forum is amazing and I thought I would look here first. I am open to all medias. Wish there were some pyo griffs in the store.
