I’m pretty sure it was a mix of bright iridescent bright gold, naphthol red medium, quinacridone crimson and iridescent orange. I was going for a padparadscha sapphire kind of color

I would say that 90+% of what I do when I’m working not doing eBay are production dragons, so when I’m trying to come up with colors is so much easier to work with them. After almost three years they’re all like friends to me 😊 this, along with the fact that there are many more dragons than other species certainly impacts how many dragons you see on eBay!

 

I’ve been trying really hard lately to make sure there is a bigger variety since I know some people don’t collect the dragons at all 😆 And since you guys seem to like the dragon colors migrating to other species I’ll keep trying to spread the love ❤️

The wild trolls are based on the trolls from world of Warcraft of which I am a huge fan 😄 so glad you guys are enjoying the new colors!

@Ela_hera: I think all the current trolls have been posted, but I definitely have the colors in a couple jars that need to be used up! XD maybe a couple unitrolls!

Other people have done test paints in the past. Unfortunately that gallery disappeared with the transition to the new Forum.

The names I remember are PS and Brandi (both fairly recently), Olimpia (she did lap dragons, male dragons and Orientals, maybe some others), Arila (I think she did some hatching Royalty ?), and Jennifer [Miller] who did a fledgling and a mother coiled dragon that I know of.

Meeri is the name of my dog, named after Vermeer because of her coloring, these dragons are a bit more crazy colored, but the name stuck with them! 😀

We decided to try out cele with normal eyes because of the green that comes with the spectral eyes, it was very off putting to me with her scheme xD
