Thank you! 😀
I will go look.
Well how come I can’t find those pages by following links through windstoneeditions.com? Am I just dumb or what?
galloping! That’s the word I was looking for to describe the running.
Yup, the silence is the worst. It’s like, what the hell are they up to?
I think I’ll turn out the lights now, go to sleep, and let the beasties come to life and the galloping begin!
Nite Phil.
Hahahaha.
I can totally relate!
Damn!
That explains all of the running around my cats do as soon as I turn off all the lights to go to bed.
I love the soft, subtle realistic matt painting job on this guy. 😀
Erm…does it make sense to say realistic when refering to a griffin.
Oh ya. The griffin is fantastic! 😀
Wow. That took me a while to weed through. 🙁
pegasil, just do what I do.
I only go after the production pieces. They are beautiful and somewhat affordable. Be happy and satisfied with just those. I’m one person who could go after the limited ones and give some people a real run for their money 😉 but I choose not to. I don’t mean to gloat, it’s just a fact. I don’t even consider it when a new one is listed so there is no room for disappointment.
I am very happy with just the production pieces. I sometimes watch the specially painted pieces go but with more amazement/amusement then anything else at how much they go for. 😉
I’m also very happy for the person that won them because I can imagine their excitement. My only problem with going after the production pieces is it seems that there haven’t been very many new ‘affordable’ sculpts in quite a while, with the exception to the PYO’s which are nice and very affordable. I remember many years ago when they were coming out with several new sculpts a year. Now those were the good windstone days for me.
So, windstone, which was once my main collection, has totally fallen to the back burner to other collections that come out with new sculpts on a regular basis.
I am very happy to see that windstone seems to be getting some momentum again. This is great! The start up of this forum and this web page ‘finally’ coming to life after many years of it being just a dead page is good news.
All I have to say is, bring on the new affordable production sculpts! Also, I made a rule for myself many years ago that I’ve lived by and have been happy with. Never, ever, get mad over an eBay auction! At the end of the day, it’s just a thing.
I think it’s real and I also think it needs a good dusting.
My god it’s dusty!I know that they had at least one windstone gargoyle, not the hyena but the other one like it, right up at the till in the store for a number of episodes.
To have it right at the till says something good about windstone gargoyles I think.
That is correct.
I’m always broke though.
Doubt it. They seem like a pretty loyal bunch. Working on it though… 😉
3 of my leopard geckos are offspring that I have hatched. They are verrrry tricky to hatch.
The eggs go bad/moldy or too dry very easily.Sounds like something you need to try for sure then.
I’ve painted a few of them. Only when I get one trashed in the mail that I have to restore.
Sadly, this happens to me on a regular basis so I’ve been getting very good a restoring pieces.Windstones would be a nightmare to restore I think.
I’m pretty sure I could sculpt/fill and missing pieces and holes and hide cracks but the paint would be another matter. Pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to match the paint. To buy the sins you have to email Adrian at
enquiries@thedragonsite.comHe is the owner of the dragonsite UK.
The dragonsite webpage is http://www.thedragonsite.comWow. Those horses you painted are amazing!!!
You did such a good job. Maybe i’ll send you some dragons to paint eh. 😉 -
