I wrote a note to that seller, just a friendly one, letting him know it’s not the real thing and he either needs to change the description or take the auction down.
I mean he’s blatantly advertising it as an authentic Windstone and it’s NOT. Isn’t that illegal?
purpledoggy wrote:I suffer from IBS and anxiety which has gotten pretty bad as of late. Before I could manage by taking some time out during the week to do something I enjoy like go on a hike or just sit outside and watch the local wildlife. I also play World of Warcraft to unwind at the end of the day. Now I can’t manage without taking medication which has helped me quite a bit and to my surprise I don’t feel drugged from it. I really didn’t want to take any medication but my normal routine wasn’t helping my stress levels anymore. If you really feel you can’t manage your anxiety anymore you could always try medication and see how it makes you feel. I was very surprised at how well they have worked for me and I feel perfectly normal.
Thanks for the advice purpledoggy. Are you taking Xanax? Everyone I speak to about it says doctors give it out like candy if you have anxiety…which makes it sound relatively safe. 😕 Does it work on a need basis or do you have to take it daily?
Thanks so much for sharing your story. How many of you suffer with anxiety? I learned recently that I have it quite bad….it’s probably the reason I have IBS, which is a not-so-pleasant gut condition. 🙁
So, what do you do to deal with anxiety? What do you find works for you? I would like to find solutions that don’t involve drugs.
I’ve already started a diary where I write out what’s bugging me, why I think I’m stressing, and then I try to end each entry with positive affirmations.
Hi Sway! I always admire another horse lover.
Horses seem to be mutual among dragon lovers! LOLWelcome! 😀
I wonder if it’s possible to request a certain kind of fuzzy?
When I ordered my gold lap I put “Love Fuzzy! Please send a gold fuzzball to match this dragon!”
LOL
I wonder if requesting is even allowed….if one of the grizzly fuzzies tags along though I’ll be psyched!!
I can’t wait to see your pics, Lady! Please be sure to take nice up-close detailed macro shots! 😆
I drool over dragon scales and claws! 8)
I just keep wondering if the supplier of their gypsum is sending lower quality stuff. It seems people are doing that now…charging more money, for less and less quality.
I wonder if it’s time for a new supplier for the gysum?November 6, 2009 at 1:34 pm in reply to: Show me your signed gold lap dragons!! If it’s from the first batch, that means your lap coloring matches the one on the left in this photos?:
I’ve been drooling over that first batch of antique gold ones that came out, which were replaced by the buttery/brassy gold. 🙁 I have stealing, I mean visitation rights to Mimi’s!I like them both! That antique-style gold is lovely, and the brassy one looks like it’s been polished to a fine shine…just gorgeous!! Either way I’m just psyched because I got the brassy one but it’s SIGNED. It will be my first signed piece! 😀

I doubt it will get up to $400, but since it’s a test paint, and nothing they put in the store will ever be that detailed, I’d say it’s worth a great deal more than $52…6.6…
Like…. $54? >.> 😉
😛 Oh come now, I’ve SEEN these things get bid up to crazy prices. I’m going to see what it gets bid up to and see if I’m right. 😉

LOL ^_^
So c’mon darjeb, show us a group pic of all 18 curlies! 😀
emerald212 wrote:I got my Copper curly. I forgot to say “Love Fuzzy.” I usually do. But I like the curly a lot.
He he, I’m not likely to forget that from now on, I think having a collection of fuzzies might actually bring more value to the Windstone pieces 😀
Your avatar, by the way…I love that piece *_* Not exactly a curly but close enough!

pipsxlch wrote:I love my old green one. I had the empea also at one point, but it didn’t appeal half so well to me once I got the green, so I let it go on to another home that wanted it more. I try not to have multiples of a sculpt anyhow, at least not until room/money allow! (the blue eye on the empea just got lost visually to me)
Thank you for the pic!! I love that color…definitely one I’ll be seeking out!
