Wow machineguts congrats on those awesome finds!! 😀
Whoa those are GORGEOUS!! Man, some really cool designs too, I love the unicorns and the birds! (Crows or ravens I assume?)
Yeee! Got mine too! 😛 This is gonna be fun ^_^
And on a side note Bodine, I don’t think you should contact your swap partner because it’s supposed to be a surprise! I don’t want to know who got me until I get the package!! 😀
I suppose though if you’re having trouble with shipping info or whatnot, you could contact Crimson and she can relay the message to your swap partner to confirm something, without having to reveal who the swap partner is.pegasi1978 wrote:After 21 days it would be released to the sellers account.
Which means that if he chooses he can wait to hold it for 21 days, leaving me sitting here knowing I wasted $35 for priority mail because it sure isn’t going to get to me fast. *sigh* 🙁
I had no idea about that 21 day rule or I would not have purchased from him! He IS a new seller with a low rating (only 3) so it makes sense now! These “rules” Paypal has is infuriating. This means the seller basically has to mail his package before his funds go through, but he doesn’t realize he WILL get the money it’s just when I leave a positive feedback he will get it. But he has to wait, and I’m sure some new sellers won’t understand this policy and hold the item until they get the funds…which they won’t until Paypal sees I got the item with a positive feedback 👿 😡
UNGH. So I sent another message to the seller explaining this and hopefully he’ll understand this 21 day thing, call Paypal to confirm it, then mail the package.
Has anyone heard of a seller claiming that “Paypal is having trouble getting the money into my account…?”
What happened is the seller who I won an emp from (off of eBay) finally responds to my messages a week later and tells me this. Meanwhile Paypal is showing the money went through, AND the charge is on my card.
So what gives? Is he giving me a bunch of baloney or is this actually possible?
I’m JUST a tad irked that after paying $35 for priority he has the nerve to tell me a week after paying him that the money is supposedly not in his account yet. I don’t like to jump to conclusions but this does sound a TAD suspicious. 👿

I was just wondering if you thought the picture of the old warrior in the store was an accurate representation of his coloring? I really like the gold pieces with more brown shading mixed in with the gold and the store picture of the old warrior doesn’t show much brown. So I was just wondering if the lighting might have washed out his brown or if these guys are being painted a little differently up in Oregon than they were in California?I hope you don’t mind my own “two cents” but if it helps any….my gold lap looked a lot like the pic in the store, but I noticed more brown (interference?) paint on it then you could see in the picture. It’s really quite lovely. And the letter I got sent with it explains that mine is from the 2nd batch, which is lighter than the 1st batch, which were darker. If you look in the “Show me your signed gold lap dragons!” thread you’ll see my pics as well as others…there’s one from another collector that shows both the light and dark versions.
These are laps, not OWs, but the paint would be the same so you can get a good idea of what it looks like.Hope that helps!
I’d like to do a Twitter account but sometimes I feel like I just wouldn’t keep up with it… 😕
Awww, what a great costume! As a little girl when I used to go trick or treating I would have LOVED to dress up as a dragon! 😀

It’s neat how one was very heavily antiqued and the other not so much. c.c
I also got my bengal Cat’s Cradle, but am trying to think up a cute way to photograph it.
lol, congrats btw >.> @ setsuna
Is the darker one the one I sent you?? I had no idea that some were darker than others! Cool!
They look so CUTE!!November 10, 2009 at 2:46 am in reply to: Show me your signed gold lap dragons!! Update: It's HERE!! #790304bump!!

I have that SK as my desktop…SOOO gorgeous!! Fantastic work on that one, Melody.
There have been many pieces go higher (just not recently). I think either the Labradorite Lap or one of the first Prototype Old Warriors were the highest at over $5k.
*faints* Wow!! 😮
And wasn’t that lab lap your own creation?! Way to go, Jennifer! 😀Good luck with that! My parents are in Florida and I worry about them a bit, but I think they are inland and not near the coast line.
Susie wrote:If you missed the Young Oriental Dragons in Copper Patina and would like to be notified when we have more of them in the store, please send me an email to be placed on the waiting list for them. I’m not sure when more will be ready but I’m pretty sure there will be some more.
I did email you 🙂
