Wow whoever did that, it’s just fantastic! I love how the people here come together for others who are having a tough go of it.
(and that poad is BEAUTIFUL!!!!)
Worst I had was a homeless guy run up to my car and start banging on the window as I went to work (at about 4:15am). But scary! It’s terrifying feeling like your not safe in your own home (where you should feel the safest!).
Ooooo! This sounds cool (and kinda fun!) 😀
Welcome home!!!!! Very awesome to read that you don’t have the pain in your feet anymore!!!!! Amazing job on being brave and facing something so scary! Hugs sweety, have a nice relaxing recoup time!
What she said! 😀 And restating that it’s awesome your feet don’t hurt anymore! Woot!
Got called back. It’s a benign growth on my lymph node…. 😀 Super happy!
Have you found out the results, Dragon87? I really hope everything’s all right and the agonizing waiting is behind you!
Had the ultrasound today. Don’t know what’s going on with it – she ran off and showed the doc at the imaging place, then I got sent home – she said he’d most likely want to “have a see for himself” but apparently not. I hope that means it’s nothing… I suppose I’ll find out in the next week (takes a couple days to get results to doc who ordered it).
I haven’t been called back on the blood tests, but I don’t expect that since she doesn’t have the ultrasound back yet (why call back on one when you ordered two tests for the same thing? May as well wait for both results).
Well I’ll give you all the best support that I can over the internet! I agree with Melody, talk with the people there, maybe they can do something to help!
Welcome back Kyrin! Was wondering where you were at! 😀
Happy Halloween! Favorite holiday for me (though I am sadly lacking in costume this year, so I’m wearing my wolf ears and tail that I got at animathon … last year?)
To clarify, in the lasagna recipe, use pasta sauce and water, OR make the sauce recipe that I posted. You don’t need both. Sorry about that!
Haha I was about to ask!!! They look good though – if I ever get any kind of energy again, I will try them (really I’ve been dead exhausted for no reason lately).
Found a lump in my armpit. Doc thinks it’s ‘probably’ nothing, but doing tests for lymphoma anyway. Have to admit, I’m going between “It’s probably nothing” and worrying. I can’t wait until the test results come back so that I’ll at least know.
(I’m whining about it on here, because I don’t want my husband to know I’m as worried as I am, he won’t think I’m silly but I don’t want him worrying too – that would make it worse)
This nerd loves the ferrous wheel one too!
Oh wow that’s great news! I hope this cat gets the home she deserves – good job to the vet! 🙂
SO NOT YOUR FAULT!
And the new owners shouldn’t have been so quick to euthanize. My parents had a cat with FeLV and she lived to 18. They were told she would die months after the diagnoses, but lived another 13 years.
Although – mum abandoning the kittens should have been a hint. Mother cats usually don’t abandon healthy kittens……. just saying.
Give the people who took the kittens the contact info for the person that they got the kittens from, and say you’re out of it. You need to step away from this, because you didn’t rehome kittens that weren’t vet checked. They can hash it out amongst themselves.
And ((HUGS)). I’d feel just awful too.
You did what you had to do. It’s more painful to watch your loved pet waste away in pain and misery then to let them go when you’ve done all you can.
That poem made me cry though… the first one. You love your pets so much over the years, and the most selfless, heartbreaking, and love filled thing you can do for your pet, is, in the end, to let them go when it’s time.
My condolences, and many many hugs.
