Yeh, so sorry about the OW…it’s kinda weird just horrible luck & timing that someone else suddenly bought it, just after you put your money down on it, since they have been retired for a while… π₯

I thought that “Size Matters!” would attract you guys! I’m new here, but just a hunch π
Melody wrote:My mom told me that my stuffed animal toys came alive at night. She said that if I watched them long enough in the dark, they’d think I was asleep, and I could see them move. Sure enough! They did!…after my eyes became fatigued enough. She would sometimes come in my room after I was asleep and do things, like place objects in their paws that weren’t there the night before. It is fun to mess with your kids’ heads.
So Melody, what kind of toys did you grow up with? π

There used to be dealer in Lausanne, evidently. But I was there and I saw no Windstones. π There’s not a big market for myth and magic here anyway.
Why don’t you be a dealer then? Sounds like you wouldn’t have any competition! You could just order the pieces that you like, so if you don’t sell them then it’s still cool:D
He’s an Old Warrior Dragon. He needs to smoke anything he can get his hands on to help him cope with the horrors of past wars. π
Greater Basilisk wrote:Hm, there’s no place called Pinay here. Now I’ll have to find a phone book and look up similar-sounding names until I know what it is! π
Yeh, I’m probably spelling it wrong. It’s beautiful there though. There is this small lake with super blue water in the mountains.
So are there any Windstone dealers there?
Melody wrote:DROGO wrote:Ok, Melody, I assume your dragons aren’t sculpted actual size, so how big are these dragons supposed to be in “real life”? They are relative in size to one another though, right? Like, mommy dragon is smaller than male, which is smaller than OW which is slightly smaller than Emperor. Is the male dragon the size of a horse or a house? How do you see them interacting with their environment while you were sculpting them? I’m curious how these guys would look, if they decide to visit. It’s sad but I think about these things alot. π
I have two mutually exclusive thoughts on that.
one : I intended Windstone dragons to be exactly the size they are. My underlying concept for the line is that they aren’t statues of dragons, they are Windstones which are exactly what they are, right there in front of you. Like Pocket Dragons(tm), that are really the size they are, and actually present in your room with you. They aren’t statues representing something else. That is one reason my dragons are in somewhat static poses. It makes them seem real and alive, they are just sitting still until you look away. If a dragon statue is roaring and attacking a knight or something, it removes the subject to an imaginary world. It becomes a frozen actor on a stage-like setting that isn’t in your time.. it is hard to explain. There is nothing wrong with this, but it isn’t the concept I have for mine.two: Then there are the Wizards.
They have Windstone sized dragons with them, but the smaller wizards also are in scale with the adult dragons, the size I pictured dragons should be be. Bigger than a horse, kinda dinosaur size.
The royal hatching baby dragons are a little large to be in scale with the adults, but the adults are in scale with each other. So they are two sizes at once, one on your desk one in your imagination.
This is the sort of thing that you can do when you ride a hippogriff. Hippogriffs represent the ability to embrace mutually exclusive facts. They carry you to their world where you don’t have to worry about it!
COOL! π― It’s awesome that you are flexible, and entertain 2 perspectives on their size. I see them the same way also. Like they’re the size of a cat, basking and carrying on on my shelves, yet in another realm, they’er dino-sized! The SK must ne the size of the male dragon in Reign of Fire!
Your dragons have so much personality! For me it’s because of the tilt of their heads and especially in their eyes. I guess that’s why the Spectrals kinda creep me out a little, though in a cool way π

How about a Warrior Queen? It could be as large as an Emperor. Kill 2 dragons with one huge boulder π

Hey, my uncle lives in Switzerland! I’ve stayed there a month with him when I was in highschool. Great place! Love the mountains! He had a place in the mountains. I think the town was called Pinay? I may have misspelled it. I’m in Houston and it’s flat and humid here π
Sure I’d pay $600 to “store” 20 of your pieces π
