Out of curiosity..why do these little guys always so sell for so much and disappear so quickly ? I was thinking of getting one..but the prices for them even on eBay are almost what I spend on a larger Dragon. This might be more a query for members rather than Melody..but it’s in a correctly labled topic at least… 😀

Thanks for the larger imagine! I can see it better now; from the small avatar, it looked to me like his face was angled towards me, and his wing was in his mouth. Now I can see his face is in profile; so nope, no reason to think he’s munching on his wing and no reason to edit it out. It’s a really cool imagine =)

Now if I can just figure out DragonMedley’s Avatar, I’ll be all set =P

Neighbor, UPS driver, whatever… at least you got her back…but I agree with others, I wouldn’t take a chance on it happening again…let them hold it and you pick it up or maybe they can arrange a drop off where you work ?

That really sucks..the drivers that come to our house just has anyone available sign and doesn’t even look at it.

I would check with UPS first.. what if a driver just signed something and took it because they wanted it ? The driver had to see the person there..assuming he had someone sign for it at all and didn’t just leave it..this person had to know it was coming or just be in the area to see it for some reason. You may never see the dragon itself again..but UPS should pay for it since it was their mistake.

I had a similar problem earlier this past year when I shipped something, the buyer said it never arrived but since they didn’t want insurance, tracking, or delivery confirmation there was nothing to be done for it…someone could have just taken it off their stoop or mailbox.

Stealing mail in general is a federal offense but don’t expect to get anything from the government. .. 🙁

If you haven’t already..I would ask any neighbor that can see your house to see if they may have just possibly saw someone as well…this person might try it again afterall.

I think just about everyone could afford a one a year fee of 20.00 ….I don’t think we need life time memberships…if that 20.00 or so bucks got me a special piece, posters, prints, whatever and some discounts I would consider it worth it.

Posting on the forum shouldn’t be a pre-requisite for the club. It could have a members-only section though..and members could get some neat little symbol or something to put on their signatures..something that shows up with their posts..maybe a golden W ?

Online newsletter would be fine with me..it could be posted in the members-only section and notices sent via email or just send them in emails. Members could also get advance notice of when limited pieces are going to go on sale or maybe even pre-order em’ 😮
