I’ll also miss Thursday for class, but I guess I can just listen later if I have to
Aww! I love the fawn pictures…I may have gotten cavities from all the sweetness 😆
I just finished my Keeper (took me long enough, I know), and now I’m desperate for another one. They’re amazing dragons to paint, I already have plans drawn up for round number two 😆
I love the Curlie, but blue always gets to me
The last one is spooky 😆
He’s so amazing, the antiquing and the colours are stunning!
I’m so desperate to win this time around 😆
Aww! What a cutie! 😀
I’ll keep good thoughts for Claire as well
Wow, he’s got some real punch to him! I love the blue with the dark purple 😀
Bah, I forgot about Fuzzy again! I’ll never get it right 😆
I got a dark-blue eyed Griffin for my youngest sister to paint, and a green eyed wolf to paint for my other sister for a Christmas present 😀
Now I just need another Keeper for me!
I was going to enter this time around, but hopefully I’ll be able to get all the PYO’s I had planned on painting as Christmas presents and work on those instead. I just wouldn’t have time to paint for the swap and get the other stuff ready by the end of December…I probably won’t make it as it is 😆
I can’t wait to see what you guys paint for one another though!
Friday was spent moving a fully-packed van of stuff up to North Bay, where both my younger sisters are going to school. One goes to Nipissing University, the other goes to Canadore College…same campus, different schools. It’s the youngest’s first year away from home, so we had to move her into a residence apartment. It was first floor though, much nicer than the 4th floor where the other sister used to live! We moved everything into the apartment the older sister rents off campus, slept, got up early, unpacked the youngest one at the college, packed up the stuff that needed to come home, then hit the road again.
The rest of the weekend will be spent packing my stuff for my trip down to Hamilton for my next year at McMaster University. I haven’t had time to pack up yet, we were too busy packing up my younger sisters and also running around the province for other things. I get to move back to the city on Tuesday…god I hate cities! Give me the country in fall any day!
Not much of a weekend 😛
I’m so sorry to hear about Moon *hug*
No matter how long an animal companion lives, it’s just never long enough
I’m waiting for the PYO’s too, although at this point I think I’ll likely be disappointed. Starting next week I have to move my sisters to college and university, then move myself. I’ll probably miss everything I was planning on painting for Christmas gifts. Still, I lucked into a Keeper dragon the last time, miracles could happen twice right?
Thanks for all the updates Susie! 😀
I’m so sorry that you lost Lucy. It was the right thing to do, but I know that isn’t much comfort afterward. I’ve had to put down several pets already, including Lady, our 7-year-old Springer Spaniel who had cancer. For months the vets thought it was a simple eye infection, only after weeks of hand-feeding her and bathing the “swelling” on her face did we discover it was a tumor. I still miss her, and I’m still upset that she suffered for so long before we realized she wasn’t going to get better.
I can’t understand people who don’t bond to animals, but then it’s really not my business how they feel. It irks me though when those people try to “comfort” someone who does love their pets like family by telling them the friend they just lost wasn’t even worth that kind of affection. Lucy wasn’t “just a dog”, and luckily she has you and your mother to remember her that way *hug*
