My Green/Gold Nettuce Poad just arrived tonight, and he’s even more gorgeous “in Poadson” !! XD My cats think he’s a real animal with those green eyes, so they are hoping I will leave him out unattended sometime. Thanks, Melody, for the drawing on the COA! squeek* I want more, more, more. I knew this would happen! :shout:

By the way, the Bronze Sun Dragon #4 was sold/paid for either at the end of March or beginning of April 2008, if that helps. 😆

Ok, I checked my records, and then I remembered that I had moved around the time that the Bronze Sun Dragon #4 ended and was hacked into, and I had no access to a computer, because I got rid of my old one, and was waiting for my new one to arrive. I planned on calling Karen to see if I won, and she called me first with the 2nd chance offer, since he was hacked. Since I couldn’t use a computer for Paypal, I sent a money order, so I don’t remember how much he was, but I give permission to Windstone Staff to reveal that amount–I’m curious to know myself now. 🙄 But as far as the Burgundy/Gold OW, he cost $900 before shipping. I bid a LOT more than that, but that was the highest bid, before the auction got ended 3-4 hours early because of the hacker, so I got a good deal. XD

I have the Burgundy/Gold OW and the Bronze #4 Oriental Sun Dragon–I will look up my Paypal records and let you know what they cost me. I’m so happy somebody is finally updating this webpage, it is really handy, and I love seeing all the pictures of some of the LP’s I did not see before. squeek*

in reply to: Fraudulent (yet legitimate??) eBay email: re Windstone #757553

I thought the winning bidder’s username is hidden now, do they actually show it after the auction is over? I know that I can see my name on my end, but I assumed it was hidden from everyone else. It seems to me that I didn’t know who won the Prairie Falcon until I saw the thread with him pictured the other day. But even then, I don’t know your user ID. But what is the scammer trying to accomplish by doing this–are they trying to get you to send the money to them, instead of Windstone? It seems if you use the “Pay Now” from the listing itself, it couldn’t possibly go anyplace else but the seller. But yeah, I have learned that compulsive liars like to be very elaborate in their stories (such as the having to use the daughter’s ebay account, and that ebay won’t let seller contact winner after auction ends, blah blah blah 👿 🙄 :spank: 😥 XD )
The more they talk, the bigger a hole they dig! XD

in reply to: New production color in the works? Maybe? #755836

Amethyst Orientals–are they going to be in the online store, or just LP’s on Ebay? And when will they become available? Please, if anybody from the WS staff could answer this, I would really want to get one–bad!!! Those would be BEEEUUTIFUL!!! squeek* squeek* squeek* squeek* squeek* squeek* squeek*
want, want, want, want, want! XD

in reply to: March raffle? #755653

actually I was puzzled, because she has never not answered one of my emails before…I know she is very busy, and I have been having some problems with my email program, so between the 2 factors, I didn’t know if she got it. But yeah, she has always answered all my emails in the past, bless her heart. XD

Thank you Melody for answering me on that–Hugs–Hugs– squeek*

in reply to: Wow, That Must Be One Expensive Post Office #757408

The calculated shipping to me on these 2 to Spokane WA is 33.00 EA.–what kind of packing material is being used–Rocks???? XD

in reply to: Wow, That Must Be One Expensive Post Office #757407

Hey check out the shipping costs on these 2 auctions on Ebay right now. I know they would be coming from back east to me, but is it just me, or is the shipping way out of line, especially for just parcel post?
I can’t post a link to them, but maybe somebody else can, but the auction numbers are:
    260320974295
    260320975005
I went to the store website and these 2 items are only 2 pounds each! They are made out of gypsum, not solid lead, lol! 👿 :spank:

    in reply to: Purple #753215

Yes, please allow us 2 per person, so we can get one as a gift. I was planning on giving one to my aunt for a birthday gift. :shout: squeek*

in reply to: March raffle? #755644

Thanks for explaining that–I noticed some people saying they couldn’t be in it, or were waiting for something else, and didn’t understand that. I still don’t know if Melody got my email or not. Just one more question–are we allowed to trade a raffle prize with a forum member for something else to be eligible for future drawings? 🙄 squeek*

in reply to: Excessive shipping costs on eBay? #753333

yes, it is getting to the point that these excessive shipping costs are becoming an issue as to whether I will buy or not. Most of the sellers are offered a 40% discount to use UPS but they don’t use it in their calculated shipping, which in a way, I don’t blame them, because my calculated shipping used to be too low for UPS before my discount kicked in, and I had too many problems with them anyway. But I don’t understand why the sellers always want to insist on sending USPS Priority Mail, unless it is a small item that fits in one of the free boxes the Post Office supplies for them. If they say Priority Mail, I always ask them to send it regular Parcel Post, (I don’t mind waiting a couple more days to save a few bucks), and most of the time, the seller has agreed to it. If you see something REALLY excessive pertaining to shipping costs, you should call Ebay and report it, they are trying to crack down on that. 🙄

in reply to: What Should I Do?… #755279

I don’t get it–I NEVER bid on something that I am not prepared to pay for as soon as the auction ends. Ever! There was one time that the person that co-owned my checking account spent money I didn’t know about, and I had a “firewall” that prevented me from transferring from savings until I could call the bank on the phone in person on Monday, and this was a Saturday, so I emailed the seller, and apologized up and down for the 2 day delay (they didn’t mind, they hadn’t planned on shipping before Monday anyway), but that is the ONLY time that has happened. :spank:
