I am so sorry about what happened Drag0n–keep on the police until they do something about your situation. And the advice to document every time he called and came in is a good idea, possibly be enough for you to get a restraining or no-harrassment order, depending on the laws in your state.
I sent him a note last night, asking him since he did not have the actual picture of the armadillo, just the picture from the online store, could he tell me if his was gray or brown, and also asked if he had a cerificate of authenticity, since it was signed by Melody Pena. The seller has not answered me yet. I will post answer if or when I get one, but due to the sellers answers to you, it looks like something that John should be alerted to, number one, for using store photo without permission and number two, intentionally misleading advertising. :spank: :spank:
But she did sign all those 2009 releases of the Armadillos! They all come with COA’s–if he actually had a 1984, it would be a gray color, and I don’t think it has a felt bottom–I saw one on Ebay once, in fact I wondered if it was really a Windstone, but it sold for a lot of money, Melody was even curious to see that auction then. 😀
yes, I think you should send the first auction to John that does look like a mold of the Mother Dragon–As far as the second auction, my Armadillo DOES have ’84 stamped on it, but I think the seller knows better, because they must have purchased it from the online store, therefore knows it is the 2009 edition. Also, they are using store photo without permission, but then they are not the first to do so. On the other hand, the fact that they are using store photo is sort of a dead giveaway to collectors that this is NOT the vintage ’84 Armadillo, but maybe you should go ahead and let John send him/her a note and ask them to correct their listing as well. We have had other sellers claim that Melody has signed and painted items before, just because of a stamp on a piece, when it was NOT signed, and have written to the seller, and received extremely rude responses back, and refusals to revise their listings in the past, and I am not sure if this situation is something John handles or not. :shrug:
I would like to see Melody do some more green-eyed sculptures–I have a Poad with dark green eyes and those eyes are gorgeous!

Well, she’s not on the forum, so I don’t think she got it, so I will PM her and let her know that you ordered her one. She was afraid if she didn’t get in on this batch, there would not be any more. 😀
So you got one for Drag0n? That’s a relief! We had a deal, that I would put her shipping address, and have Susie send her a PP invoice. But if you cancel it, and then I order it, I am afraid somebody else will snag it before I can do it.
I just tried to order her one, had it in my shopping cart, and then when I clicked submit order, was told the shopping cart was now empty!! 👿
you know, it’s always possible, now that you’ve submitted the appeal, that they will overturn it without you having to have a “hearing” or anything now. I had that happen with Unemployment once, I just submitted it, with my responses to the questions on it, and with that, they were satisfied, and I was reinstated immediately. If I were you, I would also ask for continuing benefits until this is resolved, and find out about the possibility of Unemployment Compensation in the meantime, although, the drawback would be if you are disabled and cannot job-hunt or do work of any kind, that prevents you from being able to draw it…Possibly there are state benefits, medicaid, and food stamps. Look into every option out there, at least for the time being, and Drag0nfeathers is right–FIGHT! They are counting on you NOT doing that, a lot of times that WORKS for them, but show them it won’t work with YOU! 😀
