It must be soooo nice to have him home again!!! 😀 I guess now he’ll be devoting a lot of time to that job hunting. 😉
Yep he’s home for good now. He’ll finish out his contract with the Army and then move on to civilian life. In fact when he got online yesterday a new job with the company he wants to work for had just been posted so he put in an application. He’s been in contact with the person in charge of hiring since March so we are hoping for good news now that it’s much closer to the actual date that he will be getting out of the Army.
Navarre is smack in between Hurlburt Field (where he wants to work) and Milton (where his mom and brother live). All of it is near Pensacola.
😀 He got the job offer and accepted it! The offer is contingent upon the award of funds or additional positions. If it occurs (and it more than likely will) he will start working Sept. 22! 😯 That’s the spooky part. We have 6 weeks left here at Fort Stewart and then we will be in Florida.
We’ve already looked through a ton of emails from a realtor and have a list of about 13 houses that we like. We need to narrow them down a little more. Now that we have the letter that lists the salary we can take that to the bank to see how much of a morgatge we qualify for.
