Thanks for all the notes guys. It’s great having him home. I’ve only had one or two time where I’ve looked at his shaving kit in the bathroom and thought to myself, “Wait a minute, he’s home for good this time. He doesn’t have to leave in a few days.”
Gavin is having a major case of “Daddy do it”. He doesn’t want me to do anything for him right now. He seems to be adjusting okay though. We’ll see how he does on Thursday when Daddy has to go back to work. It’s only half day reintergration training for two weeks. Then we don’t know what his schedule will be like after that. Most everyone else will be taking leave, but since we plan on getting out of the army soon we won’t be taking any time off.
