August 18, 2009 at 4:42 pm #761006I tried to see Anubis yesterday, but I can’t see your pictures at work (very odd), so I had to wait until today. Absolutely. Awesome. He is fantastic! 8) *cough* If Griffinlover doesn’t want him, he’s always welcome to come and roost my way. *cough*

Here is the final few shots…One is of the stone at the top of his head dress. I am still not sure…So if there is a rockhound out there that happens by let me please know what that is! LOL I know what the rubies are. 😉
Also, I decided I needed some stress-reliever and opened up my final Griffin…Here it is, I am nicknaming him “Tropic” for now. He will have other colors on him too, but I wanted to do something BRIGHT!!! 😮 Well, here he/she is…
I want to put purple and blue on him also…Trust me, he will get past the “froggy” stage! 😆August 24, 2009 at 5:46 am #761011Anubis is AWESOME! And Tropic is looking like just my kind of bird – bright and cheerful. 😀

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.August 25, 2009 at 12:32 am #761013I’m not a rockhound but that looks like either Lapis or Sodalite to me.
Regardless of the type of stone that is one awsome griffin.

*blushes* Yeah, I am impressed with Anubis. I was going to do Horus with this last Griffin, but I needed to break away from my dark pieces.
LOL! Thanks GB! Tropic sort of has this screaming effect on Scott, but over the weekend he grew on him. 😛 I have to admit, when I first started him he screamed at me, but the more he is around the more he grows on me. Plus he will darken up a few shades. I found out something really neat! I have some glow in the dark paint that actually is so close to the vivid lime, I am going to put a little of it along some the of the feather edges so he glows…I am out to have fun with this Griffin, and so I shall! Hopefully someone else will like him enough to want to own him! (I promised to sell him so I could put funds back into Scott’s paypal. 😳 )
GB, if I could afford it, I would have an army of just your Griffins! 😮 😆August 26, 2009 at 6:00 am #761015Awww, that’s awfully sweet of you, WSC. 😳
Is Tropic a commission or a personal piece?August 26, 2009 at 6:53 am #761016Personal. He will be up for sale when he is finished. Which I am hoping to get accomplished within a couple weeks… 😈
