Sigh – you and me both, except maybe not so panicky at this end. I spent a couple of hours contemplating black cougars. “Grape Vines” in the cart … splash [threw him back]; “Cyan Flambe” in the cart for a long time … splash [and somebody else quickly grabbed him]; “Swooshy Sprinkles” in the cart … splash; “Gape Vines” in the cart again … oh, OK, I guess he’s coming to live with me!
Poor “Swooshy Sprinkles” is still waiting for somebody to love him.
I was super disappointed because I had pink blue green in my cart and paying for it immediately and then it disappeared when just a minute or so had elapsed. I am very disappointed in the functioning of the website.
I really think Windstone needs to repeat this special session for those that experienced the malfunctioning. Not fair!

There are about 14 more cougars that are very similar to “Eat your Pink Blue Greens” that will be in the Giraffe grab bag batch. There are plenty left!
This happened to me twice. I had another in my cart and yet it disappeared in a minute while paying. Why? I thought only one could be in a cart at a time? So what happened?
The advantage of getting one from this session is the ability to get more than one with potentially one from the grab bag and have one you really like for certain.
I actually went to a ton of trouble to be available to get one. And now I’m not confident the cart will work for the grab bag session either. Of course I really wanted one and I’m sure others experienced the problems I did as well.
And oh I should add. That in both of these cases when I went to pay – it said there was a cart problem and nothing was there anymore even though hardly any time had elapsed and I was preparing to purchase. Then later it said my cart timed out because I didn’t purchase in time!

That’s still morning where Susie is. By the way, my email arrived at 2:06 EDT – still morning for Susie (11:06 PDT) but quite different from the time that you and Tig3r06 got your email. I wonder what caused the difference?
My arrived at 1:27 pm EDT. Quite the discrepancy in the email delivery times!
WOW! My email didn’t come in until 3:57pm EDT and I live in Maryland too, the same State as Etruscan, and not too far from her either! That’s depressing! Good thing I’m sitting these Cats out – I wouldn’t have gotten my first choices anyway. When I saw my email and clicked on it (at 4:13pm EDT) only ‘Night Life’ and ‘Swooshy Sprinkles’ were left.
My favorites were ‘Early Bird Special’, Algae Clouded Leopard’, ‘Spiffy Spots’ and ‘Rainbow Ribbons’ – in that order. Congrats to all that got one!IN SEARCH OF MY NEXT GRAILS:

I was mid order on the bronze gold, when it fell out of my cart. I could have refreshed for 45 minutes, in which case I might not have gotten one at all, or looked for another.
I got my second pick (which was really my first pick before the bg) – Flamey McFlame.
Money is tight here and my hubby offered a little help.
I’m happy that the store held up with all of us picking and choosing.
Seeing these 24 made it possible for me to participate in this grab bag. I’ll be sitting out the rest of the grab bag batch, so I’m happy I was able to get one today.

I’m no IT person, but I think it works like etsy. Many can have the same item in their cart, but whoever finishes paying first gets the item. Then it’s removed from others carts midway. I could be very wrong though.

Ann, sorry to hear that. The same thing happened with the grab bag young unicorns too when multiple ones were in carts but no one could check out so it froze because there wasn’t enough stock to fill the orders. Can this be fixed with the store so that if you have something in your cart, no one else can put it in their cart until the timer runs out? I was lucky I checked out right away on my cougar otherwise I’m sure someone else would have got it. At least there will still be lots of gorgeous ones in the grab bags. But I hope that this issue with the cart is fixed.

I’ve always thought that’s how the cart worked.
Kim, I don’t think it’s fair that someone can sit with something in their cart for 45 minutes, thinking about it, keeping it hostage, and probably causing more problems with the store page being constantly refreshed.
I think it’s very fair the way it’s done.
I tend to check out as quickly as possible.

Ann, were you already logged in before adding a cougar to the cart? I have had the “dropping out of the cart in mid payment” happen in the past, and it seemed to be caused by putting an item in the cart and then trying to log in during the payment process. Since I am now careful to log in ahead of an anticipated release, I haven’t had the problem.

Lol. I had to ask for the link. You all are doing better than I did. I liked the breakfast cougar. If his owner doesn’t like him please consider letting me give him a good home.

Sun Dragon Koi #3Wooo! Home now. I had to sprint to work right after I finished checkout and work a half day. The cart system worked perfectly for me. I actually had Striped Sherbert in my cart first and after thinking for a moment about how many rainbow cougars there were I put him back for river rippples. I was smitten with those cuttlefish markings the first time I laid eyes on him during the live stream. I’m sure I can find a rainbow one a like second hand. That pastel rainbow leopard is my top favorite but she didn’t make it into this batch of 24 <3
I must say even with the few hitches people experienced I really liked this idea and hope it can be implemented in some future releases <3

It seems I can’t stay logged in for long, so generally I login when paying. I haven’t had trouble with that before. I think it must logout users quickly. I use my phone for work since the open office age conversion and no longer real desktop phones available. I don’t do items like Windstone session logins on my work laptop. I’ll try to keep in mind to login periodically on my phone to try to keep my Windstone session open and ready in case of the cougar grab bag release so I don’t have to try to do that to complete the purchase. Thanks again for that tip.
