It was a dark, almost black color mixed with the purple from the scales – I couldn’t think of any other way to get the fur details to show on the solid black. I was pretty happy with how it came out since antiquing is not my strong point! 🙂

What was the inspiration?I think I saw this Foo on dA. If I remember correctly, wasn’t the inspiration marble stone? I liked all the tracery lines of veined marble done on this Foo. It was very interesting.

She’s a Marble Sand Cat who may or may not have been a part of a waterfall sculpture 😀
