Can I ask if there will be a ‘plain’ and ‘fancy’ version of this one, the way there is with the PYO Kirins?
I absolutely adore his face and his little prancy pose! I’m not a huge fan of the raised-edge scales, though, so I’d love to see a more ‘natural’ smooth-scaled version at some future point!
I don’t think I’ll ever do a “smooth” version of this one. Re-doing him with smooth scales would take months of work! -Also, brush painting on perfectly smooth scales is often disappointing to hand painters. It is difficult to hide the brush stroke marks.
Going to the trouble of putting raised edges on each scale may of been a mistake! But they are done now.The PYO Oriental looks soooooo nice!

Not currently open for PYO commissions.It only took a few minutes to fix the master in this case, but it takes a day apiece to cast new rubber molds on it, and we need several. Then it takes… maybe a week or two to cast enough pieces for a batch. This depends on how many molds we have on line, and how many casting pours per mold-per day they can do. The fatcats only take a few days to dry, but we wait until we got the entire batch dry before starting to paint them. Everything takes time.
This is assuming there aren’t new problems cropping up.doesn’t sound too bad if we have some in like a month to me!
I know it’s been about ten days since I asked or so but just curious how these guys are coming along?

I’m guessing this is why the site suddenly started lagging xD the influx of Users signing on and waiting to pounce for when these stunning foxes hit the Store. I’m still gonna have to pass, but much luck to everyone who participates! :3
