I’ve got about 100 painted, still need a few more to make a decent sized batch. I am splitting my time between painting and trying to get the hippocampus finished.

We may be waiting for cat castings with the new improved, flatter bottoms. The new master had flaws, so it needed re-doing. That slowed things down. It’s always something.

It only took a few minutes to fix the master in this case, but it takes a day apiece to cast new rubber molds on it, and we need several. Then it takes… maybe a week or two to cast enough pieces for a batch. This depends on how many molds we have on line, and how many casting pours per mold-per day they can do. The fatcats only take a few days to dry, but we wait until we got the entire batch dry before starting to paint them. Everything takes time.
This is assuming there aren’t new problems cropping up.September 15, 2015 at 8:13 pm #934493I’ve restrained myself well till now, but I gotta ask……any progress pics of GB sitting foxies? Puh puh please? *Big watery Puppy dog eyes*

Woo! That sounds great to me, you working on my two most anticipated things! If you’d like to give us a sneak peek of what you’ve got done so far I certainly wouldn’t protest ;)….

I’m hoping so too; I’d love tanukis in any color or pattern you’re willing to paint them. I think they may be my most favorite sculpt yet!!

Your favourites are tanukis, even more than poads? I definitely think tanukis are cute with their little smiles. I am enjoying the new cougar sculpt right now too though.
