January 19, 2013 at 3:06 am #892020Oh, you got the brown cuttlefish Poad! Congratulations! =D
I can’t believe I got it! I’m so excited to have it. I traded my GBB Poad for it
January 19, 2013 at 3:11 am #892021Sounds like a great trade! I think it’s the nicest Poad from the special items (imo), I notice it’s on the Windstone facebook header too, how neat is that?)
January 20, 2013 at 1:48 am #892066I found a curio cabinet at the thrift store that had my name written all over it! Unfortunately, though I now have two full cabinets….I STILL have pieces in boxes….sigh…..
Yes….there’s a hole….but in my mind it’s already filled…because this gorgeous boy will live there as soon as he arrives. 🙂
The only piece that doesn’t fit is the poor Kiwi lap…..
January 20, 2013 at 2:16 am #892068Very impressive collection!
January 20, 2013 at 4:08 am #892070Thank you! I owe a big thank you as well to the various forum members that have helped me acquire some of my favorite pieces! This is a wonderful place….
January 22, 2013 at 10:31 pm #892199WOW you have some amazing pieces! If you ever decide that kiwi lap just doesn’t fit…she’ll fit right into my bright and delightfully gaudy collection 😉
That cabinet is awesome too! I think I should get back out there and look around at some garage sales too
January 23, 2013 at 12:48 am #892209Double post!
January 23, 2013 at 12:48 am #892208Congratulations on your new baby Protoceratops! It looks like there is something reptilian on the other side to comfort her if she gets too freaked out by Batman. 🙂
January 23, 2013 at 12:48 am #892206^Actually, I believe (s)he -unless it was someone else- just recently posted in the Classified section about wanting to trade that kiwi lap for something else because of it not fitting in! You 2 should get in touch! 😛
This babe arrived today:
I don’t really have room for her on my Windstone shelf, so for now, she’s chilling by my Bat signal! Haha!
Formerly had the Batman & Joker avatar!

Thanks! I’m enjoying her. And yeah, she kinda has a buddy! Guess I could’ve gotten that in the picture better too, but oh well.

January 26, 2013 at 2:39 am #892317Updated photos of some (but almost all) of my collection ^^
Blue & Pearl Tiger Poad, and Sugar Plum Poad.
The metallic purple of the tiger poad matches the plum well, but it’s hard to capture.I love metallics on otherwise natural looking Poads!
Silver Bengal Poad and Metallic Blue Butternut Poad.Silver Lace Poad and Zeppard Poad.
The Silver Lace has such nice detail… I call her Magma… maybe it should be silver magma? It reminds me of it running finely down the back there, or maybe caramel. And the Zeppard Poad! I love Zeppard Poads! Or any Poad with dark faces and dark eyes! So cute!
The Zombie-Corn! I won this on my birthday, and quite cheap… I have no idea why, he is so stunning and suits my tastes completely. The photos show him off pretty badly… He appears black but he’s a dark metallic green with stripes. He’s painted so well.
And my most recent from a trade that I call Maps (guess why? 😉 )
I’ve always loved this candy-corn, I think I may have a love of that metallic green… it’s so rich in colour. He is very glittery too… but probably a bit darker than my photos appear.February 18, 2013 at 10:14 pm #893451February 18, 2013 at 10:23 pm #893453 -
