I’ve never heard of “Mineral Springs” and it’s just amazing…makes me think of really yummy mint ice cream
OMG, that OW collection is amazing Wolfen! You have so many stunning dragons there! I loved the great fuzzy one too! So cute (kitties have to get into EVERYTHING don’t they?):D

The Mineral Springs OW’s were auctioned off on ebay in late 2010 and possibly early 2011. There are only 5, and I believe all 5 have been sold. Mine’s #3 which Im thrilled about because 3 is my favorite/lucky number.
The orange fluffy head’s name is Sunshine. ^_^ He used to be big brave tough boy but now he’s a little scaredy poo.
I’m so excited, I got my first Old Warrior today! He is bigger then I expected, and I love the smug look on his face! I think his ego almost matches that of my hubby!:D His colours (particularly the green) are a bit muted in the overcast light. Thank you Wolfen for finding me my first OW!

I also got a beautiful coiled mother dragon in amethyst. She is even more pretty in person.
Actually I think theres one more left! The last mineral spring auction mentioned there was one more left and I havent seen one yet, so maybe theres still one lurking about the Windstone factory.

Today was a Windstone Christmas! Yesterday was a bad day for me. I woke up cranky, Josh woke up cranky-the AC is not working on my car (again), it was super hot and *STICKY* yesterday, and I did about 95 miles of driving Josh to his friend’s house and back, and picking him up (and back) because he’s out of gas in his car, and I just happened to have a full tank. I thought I had gotten laid off on Friday, so yesterday (Monday) I was worried what I would do for money after I got my last check.
I told myself today WOULD be a good day-and it has been! Apparantly there was some miscommunication at work-my boss called and says he still needs me for another project (yay!)
And the beloved UPS man showed up with not one…not TWO…but THREE boxes! It was a Windstone Christmas!
One of them is a black gold rising spectral with “magic invisible paint”. I was worried opening the box because it looked a little small. He came from ebay and I didn’t think to tell the seller how to pack him. O.O
But he’s okay! *phew* 🙂
I’m a little dissapointed the sparkle isn’t as visible and sparkly as on the “magic invisble paint” Amethyst lap dragon I have. I guess Windstone changed the paint between 2007 and now. But if you shine direct light on him, its somewhat visible, only on the black parts. And, at least he is signed, so that makes him cool too 🙂
The second and third boxes are part of a trade. They were packaged VERY…very very well! ^_^

Ive been wanting this guy for a long while! I loooove the Red Fire color and this rising spectral is the second dragon I have in this color. Now to get the rest of them :crazy:
These lovelys were in the third box. I looove the colors on this mamma griffin! I dont know if they are all this vibrant, but she’s awesome!

Those aren’t my whole collection, I have 9 other dragons, a kirin family and two griffin families. I wish I had the room to put them all together as there is so many pretty colours (I like having all different colours, it’s the whole *SHINY!!!!* thing I think! :D) My inner dragon is finding expression! Those particular colours do look nice together I think.
oooo, that is the perfect remedy for a bad day! Your new dragons and griffin are beautiful! The BG rising spectral and the sunset griffin are so vibrant! Nice find in the red fire dragon too! Beautiful new additions!
Glad to see they arrived fine . Your kitty loves them to see them . And your other new one looks nice . Seeing the RF Rising so packed up made me laugh . I really packed him . It was fun bubble wrapping him . I hope he was happy to be set free . The griffin and the little coiled too . Happy I could help you . I had no room for him any more , so the RF has a new home he’ll be loved in .
I got my flap cats from the store today . Large Birman , Large Orange and white closed eyed , small calico , orange and white small , silver bengal and brown bengal . I unwrapped them with out looking at the boxes so each was a surprise . I adore them all .
Wow, all the Old Warriors on here are so gorgeous. It’s the sculpt that I love the most out of everything that Windstone has ever made, next to the Secret Keeper, but at least there’s a shred of a chance that I might own one in the future. I think it’s safe to say that I’ll never have an SK 😛
And I have to admit, the Spectrals are starting to grow on me too!
