The hatchlings look original, but ouch with that ‘queen.’ 🙄
February 6, 2010 at 10:15 pm #708769I’ve never done this before, what’s the procedure for reporting this sort of thing?
February 7, 2010 at 6:12 pm #708770Email the link to john@windstoneeditions.com and let him know it’s a case of possible infringement. (though my opinion in this case is that it’s ‘definate’!!)

It looks like a really bad copy – ick :puke: .February 8, 2010 at 12:57 am #708772That poor guy is crosseyed!
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
February 8, 2010 at 1:02 am #708773There is just no making those knock off eyes look good. :negative:
February 8, 2010 at 3:20 am #708774How sad and UGLY
February 8, 2010 at 4:10 am #708775Reported! The second time I looked at this it was obvious that the candleholder dragons were modeled (badly) from Melody’s draggies.
The candle holders only. I don’t think the hatching dragon is anything worth bothering with.February 11, 2010 at 6:52 pm #708776Does anybody think this looks familiar? At first glance I thought somebody had painted this gargoyle.

February 12, 2010 at 4:16 pm #708777Hope this comes out right; not a fake but a repaint being sold as a ruby: http://cgi.ebay.com/Windstone-Red-Dragon_W0QQitemZ280464112441QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item414cf6bb39
I know we’re not allowed to sell repaints?February 12, 2010 at 4:27 pm #708778Awww that used to be a white male.
Can you send that one to John? I don’t think there is anything legally preventing the sale of repaints in general, but the infringement comes from the use of a Windstone color scheme and misrepresentation as ‘ruby’.
The seller might not know any better, but I think this is a situation where John would need to contact them and let them know what’s up…(though in this case I suspect that a white might sell better than a ruby anyhow, haha!)
